You might laugh but when Janssen says he would love to come here and talks about the club itself and when Lamela talks about our past with Argentinian players it's relevant - some players have heard of Tottenham and would love to come here.

Let's not be in denial about that even Redknapp joked about Levy offering 5 million for Sissoko. I just find it a shame, we are not far from being a really great team, Poch himself talked about a good few more signings, it's doesn't take Einstein to look at our team and think one really top draw AM and at least a back up for Dembele and we are right up there.
Why are we leaving this stuff till the last day playing Russian Roulette. I feel we are selling ourselves short when we don't have too.

Dozens of phone calls for relative small change? That isn't professional and it's no wonder our negotiations always drag on for ages. Even the Janssen transfer went on for a month. Levy is an embarrassment during the transfer window, lets the club down.
"Poch has a £60mil war chest" and then we end up with basically breaking even or making a profit. Again. We've not spent a penny in years, and then you hear Poch warning the fans how it's going to get even worse when the stadium is done and dusted. I'm not sure how that's even possible.

I try not to melt, but sometimes it really is hard to be inspired by the way the club is run at the minute. The fans crave ambition and the chairman is terrified of it.
