If I'm honest, I ain't really sure how good he is or what he's worth. But what really pleases me is that he turned down Everton to join Spurs. If he hadn't I'd have spent all day tomorrow raging as to why not. Now, I go to bed reassured.

OK additions throughout the summer. Still a little light offensively when having to play CL, PL and cups.
The new players and the young guns have to step up for us to compete. Anything can happen, but I feel we've missed a bit of a chance to really do something great here.
The fact we splurged £30m in the last 40 minutes of the window on an average player asks serious questions about our scouting/transfer strategy.
We could make 11 changes and field this team:

Look at the entire window, who we bought and sold, and I don't know how you can't think it hasn't been a success. We basically upgraded every position where we sold a player, and added good depth at key positions, for about £20 mil.
Sissoko doesn't happen without Poch buying in. I'm very anxious to see what we will get out of him, as well as N'koudou. I also think Son can take a Lamela sized leap this year in his sophomore campaign.
I'll choose to be optimistic, because this is our team for the next 4 months. Good teams, big clubs, overpay for players. I'm not saying Levy did a fantastic job, but if you had polled a random sampling of Spurs supporters at the beginning of the window and told them who we sold and bought, 99% would be thrilled.

Firstly I love you Dane but maybe there is no marquee signing.
On balance, he's overpriced in a way that's compensated by the good deals for Wanyama and Janssen.
They're all of equal importance in my opinion - with N'Koudou as the wildcard.
