I don't get it. It doesn't look any different to how it's always been.

He did the easy bit for someone with a lot of dosh. Most if not all football decisions he took were atrocious.
Firing Venables when he did was crazy. Playing really good football, and a really strong 2nd half of 92-93 season, I was really positive about the next league campaign. Within 2 years we were fighting relegation with Gross in charge, one of the lowest points as a supporter since 1967. So bad that even the Man in the Raincoat was an improvement.
A good owner/chairman sorts out the finances and appoints the best manager he can. Sugar could hardly fail on the first count, what with the PL and the dosh flooding into th game. But Christ what a mess he made on the 2nd.
I supported Tel,however he made those that did look like cunts when we found out he had been steeling money from our club. Fuck it's hard supporting this club at times.tbf Venables was sacked for non-footballing reasons, the evidence against him was pretty damning and made his position untenable.
Agreed though I thought we were building something special in that 92-93 season - just another example of being Spursy!

The only chairman who championed sky, for obvious reasons, as one of the big five when the others voted for ITV ( ITV had promised to screen big 5 games more often) and under his ownership never finished in the top 6 and we're certainly not in favour with SKY.He did the easy bit for someone with a lot of dosh. No, the South is the single tier.I thought the single tier was the north stand right?
Looks like a divide through the middle..
