Ex-Spurs Player Dele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Should be dropped against stoke for that, son done well from the bench today deserves his spot

Son did do well

Until he had a one on one with their keeper and fucking fluffed it
Not for the 1st time this season or have you forgotten the Dippers game?

Dele over Sonny any day but he deserves his arse kicking for that challenge certainly!

I actually think Pochettino is the sort of guy who would punish Dele for that tackle - with us not having European football until potentially next season, Alli isn't going to feel any ban another 7 or so months, I think Pochettino will drop him and reward Son for his performance today.

Reading too much shite lately, about how he's learned to control his temper, but we forget he's still a kid.
His frustration has got the better of him recently, and spilled over in the worst possible way tonight.
Truly awful tackle, he's let everyone down.

He's a talented, young, headstrong man with severe family instability issues in his past- of course he has an anger problem. We all enjoy when he gets aggressive with the opposition but today he obviously went too far. We should be understanding and forgiving, while also benching him a game or two in the prem to highlight the unacceptable nature of reds in cup competitions. It was a shit challenge too though, and someone needs to show him how to put in a "professional-looking", "unprofessional" foul.

Why do you think that? Poch didn't even condem Alli when he punched Yacob last season or when he kicked out at that player in the europa? Or his never ending dives.

Alli got his ban and was rightly punished. He doesn't get that this season due to the fact we are now out of Europe. I reckon he's dropped this Sunday, would be shocked to see otherwise.

I've watched that challenge again a couple of times and it's a nasty one. The look on Dele's face, almost a smile, and the way he also tries to follow up with his other leg, suggest a real dark side to his personality. For that split moment I think he wanted to seriously injure the other player...

Fuck knows what he had to put up with as a kid given his parenting situation, but Spurs need to sort him out with a therapist otherwise I fear he's got the potential to self destruct like Gazza...infact the challenge reminded me of Gazza's infamous 91 Cup Final foul.

So to cure Alli from all his issues you're suggesting spurs should train him on how to continue doing the fouls without it looking so bad? That's your advice?

I didn't get to watch the match but saw the clip of him getting the red card. He doesn't even deserve to be on the bench this Sunday. He let everyone down by his stupidity.

Fine him, not play him this week, make him pick up the balls and cones at the end of training, do whatever you do.
He's not the first player to make a bad challenge and he won't be the last.
I'm sure he knows what he did was wrong and he will learn from this mistake,

I don't think he'll end up like Gazza, whose had to deal with dark demons throughout his life, but I don't think he's a nasty fucker either, he's a 20 year old kid.
Walking off after seeing red, the realisation of what he did looked to have hit him, also seemed kind of embarrassed too, and so he should be, among other things.

He was showing a bit of passion, just got carried away.

I'd rather have players like Alli getting stuck in than players looking like they didn't care.
