United are probably the hardest team in the league to beat, behind us.

Even Chelsea fans don't think they'll win. Majority don't think they'll lose either but the best we can do is keep up that pressure heading into the semi final.

Can't bank on the Chelsea - United game giving us any favours so lets lock down top 3. A win here is key in allowing us to potentially slip up twice and still remain second. If United and Chelsea draw, great, but it's not something we should be focusing on.

We're still fighting for champions league and top 4, despite what the media tells us. Until we're within 1-3 points of Chelsea, it's theirs all the way.

The FA Cup on the other hand... :avbpray:

I guess Bournemouth equalising late against Liverpool shows they're the type of team who is never beaten... but then again, so are we!

Eddie Howe was being referred to in glowing terms, at one point even being linked with us around the end of the Redknapp era... in fact, he's probably the only young English manager in the same mould as Poch, and (as we wrongly thought at one point) AVB!!

Young, dynamic, good team/work ethic, and, crucially comes across as a genuinely nice guy who speas well, but commands respect amongst players... rather than an egotist and blamer (Jose??) or a piss poor coach but who is full of self-importance (Timmy?)
He does want his teams to play good football, and good for him. ...even though he let himself down by signing Wilshit on loan, but hey, not everyone's perfect.

We need to give Bournemouth the same amount of respect as we gave Watford & Swansea, and we'll be just fine.
Take them lightly, or have one eye on the Semi, and we could be in for a nervy afternoon!!

no respect. smash the shit out them.

Depends on what kind of favour you're looking for... yes a Utd win would help keep Chelsea within 'relative' touching distance (but only if we've won first, of course!) But at the same time it would possibly give Utd the impetus to push on and challenge US for 2nd/3rd IF we don't win!

As you say... forget other results and LOCK DOWN 3rd asap!
By virtue of them playing eachother, SOMEONE has to drop points... it's just how we take advantage that matters!

Again-there is no reason why we should slip up against Bournemouth , at home, Alli bang on form, Kane back and we have the winning habit. Get within 4 points but not expecting a Man U to do us a favour and beat Chelsea as they play tonight. Couldn't be a better time to play Utd - jammy bastards.

Never underestimate Mourinho's desire to stick it to Chelsea.

I don't? .....Its just . Utd played on Thur-its never good preparation for a big weekend game. Chelsea are a decent team and know how to churn out results. If Utd show any weakness, Chelsea will exploit it. Mourinho legacy lives on?

The one thing that's impressed me this season from last is our ability to finish games off early.

With the exception of the 2 Burnley games and Swansea away we've scored early enough and then again pretty soon after to finish the game. Last season we were terrible at seeing some games out.

Credit to Poch and the team.

Quick start and an earliyish goal could've important tomorrow. Burnley started really quick against us at their place and smothered us. At home I expect it to be a different story but they've shown they are capable of grinding out a result against us so we need to be bang on it!
