Hey, if I want to melt, I'll fucking melt. I feel better after letting off steam and fucking melting. It's how I deal with it when we lose. No one has the right to stop my fucking therapy. But you do have the right to put me on ignore. Just fucking do it and let me fucking melt away

Jet fuel can't melt steel beams, but your words can, buddy.

My mate is a drum n bass dj and he's doing a party. Messaged me to say he is thinking of whacking on some Radiohead. I told him to drop some acid and let it all out. :dembelelol:

See. Life goes on. Alright Monday is gonna be a giant turd sandwich with all the shit i'm gonna get at work but it won't ruin me.

The thing with West Ham is that losing to them is so annoying because they're shit. Nothing to do with rivalry for me, similar to Leicester in that respect.
No. This is to not understand the fixture for them...something I think Poch and the players still don't truly grasp themselves. This is their NLD, and we know that in a NLD form goes out of the window. They want to win it so badly, but for us it's just another game. I think that disadvantages us. They'll play out of their socks just for the bragging rights (plus the three points also pretty much seals their safety).

This forum is like watching the movie Momento but with football fans, win 9 but lose 1 and all forgotten, you all did the same after we lost at Liverpool and I said we would win the next 8 games.

Some disgusting posts on the Walker thread, hopefully Gooners posting

And that is assuming Liverpool, City or United win all their remaining games.

Of course.

We are as good as Chelsea but look at the experience they possess and that for me is the only difference. But we are further ahead of 3rd than Chelsea will be even if they win the game in hand they now hold.

I just hope Pochettino talks less of disappointment and more of progress and that we want to go on and win our last 3 games. It can be no other way.

it was a shite performance, what game were you watching.
No, it wasn't. If you think it was a shite performance then I feel sorry for you. It was a weaker performance than what we are used to, but if you think that was "shite" then you obvious have a short memory of years gone by. Hell, in the second half we came back into the game, they had to rely on one goal to win and towards the end we are attack pretty much constantly.

You think back to years ago and countless game where we've just been ripped apart. Not even comparable. Hell, even last season. Newcastle? That was a shite performance.

We could win all 38 games & people would complain about something . It's the self righteous trait of modern society. Attention spans shrink & expectancy grows. It's quite beautiful & hilarious if you look at it from outside the human race.

Our away form to be fair has been at best mid-table. Seven wins is less than four of the other top five and Woolwich who lie sixth have won more away games than we have. Sort that one out and we are in good shape for next season, but i do think that today reminded me very much of the last few games from last season.

With Yanited, Leicester and an ever improving Hull Tigers side to face, it's not all plain sailing. That said if we can't pick up a draw against one of those sides then we don't deserve to finish runners up.

Regarding Walker the media have played a large part on it in all the nonsense they are touting but in all honesty I think he has made his mind up. Why be challenged for your place when you are guaranteed a start each game. Why get paid 80k a week when you can be paid 150k a week. His age plays a factor as well. If he leaves. He leaves. We have lost big players before. That is football mate. Anyone slagging him off should be ashamed. He's been brilliant for us and has helped push us into being the side we are now but sometimes it's time to move on.

Next season we will challenge for the title and top four again. West Ham will be in another battle to survive relegation. Helps to keep that perspective. West Ham can enjoy the moment but they are still a shit club with a shit team who will never win anything and have relegation to look forward to while watching us continue to progress.

I wish I was as positive as you. We seem to struggle against pretty much any team we meet at larger pitches. Next season all our home games will be played on a large pitch. Our style of play is based on our ability to lock down opponents with high pressing and a high defensive line. We do not have the mobility to do that when there's more space. Offensively too we struggle with more space.

Next season can be a rough and negative one.

Came back into the game - are you kidding? we had no sustained pressure, an array of errors, an array of bad performances - I think their keeper made two decent saves. Overtime they launched the ball forward our defence shat themselves. I've never seen toby play so poorly - a sign if ever that it was a shite performance.
All against a side near the relegation zone, in a stadium they hate. The fact we've been so good previously and this was important - makes this a shite performance.
