Have to say, having just seen these, i'm starting to worry...

If NIKE can start messing around with Classic Kits like Barca & Inter, gawd knows what they'll do to put their stamp on 'little ol' Spurs!

Hopefully they take the 'Plain & Simple is best' stance they used for Roma;

(minus the block colour Shirts & Shorts, and of course... much whiter than Roma's!)

You are never too old to have a club shirt - anyone who says otherwise is a kill joy.

Conversely though, I do believe getting a player name and number on the back is somewhat age restricted, unless it's a Dad/Son or Daughter type combo and looks cute ... the it's ok.

This is one of the stranger differences in sports culture between the US and the rest of the world. Most Americans feel like a shirt looks incomplete without a name and number on the back. I'll say that as someone who has been buying football shirts for 15+ years, last year was the first time I ever put a name on the back of one, so I'm not opposed to it in any way and don't really understand why it's viewed so negatively even though my father (Irish, lived in Ireland & England) always told me it was frowned upon.

Also, in terms of age limit on wearing a shirt out..I get it to an extent but I almost exclusively wear mine to games/to the bar to watch the game. Been years since I wore one just out to the store or something. I think it looks a bit silly wearing it just out and about as an adult but I'd never criticize someone else for doing it

"In terms of age limit" not sure there is one,well I'm not aware of it if there is! There are plenty of adults in fact mainly adults wear football shirts out and about where I live, but what about international shirts? Scotland,England,Wales all seem very popular when they play.

Not a fan of the Barca one but think the Inter one looks really good to be fair.

I think replica shirts are fine worn on match day, whatever your age; I'm wary of putting a current player's name on the back, only because I'm scared to jinx them.
My last replica shirt was about three seasons ago, it was the away one as I cannot wear something with so much red on it, and I have a No 6 and 'Mrs P' on the back - obvs!
I tend to buy the training top, polo shirt or tee shirt now. The fact they change the shirt every season now is beyond ridiculous.

All I know is... we'll have a lovely navy away kit that sells out by the end of November - then the club will see this and decide to play in the third (supposedly) purple camouflage shirt whenever the home one isn't suitable. So even the nicest of the three will probably only be worn twice.

Yes the printing another debate. "Mrs P" your personalisation not an issue,then do you go for a current squad member but always the fear he could turn into a right c**t.....adeybayor,judas! Or a former legend Hoddle,Mackay etc your on safe ground?

Never had a shirt printed with a player name. I always thought about getting the player of the season on a shirt each year, at the end of the season. As a series of collectibles. Never did though.

I do buy replica shirts, usually aways, but rarely actually wear them. Again it's more about collectibility.

Same, but substitute the word never for rarely. This season's home shirt is still in the wrapper.

Think it will be announced on the 1st of June with Nike along with them a big part in our new stadium. Other than that 1 more year with under armour until we go into the new stadium would suit me
