If we had signed Barkley on day 1 and did nothing else I'd be happy. If we now sign Barkley on deadline day and do nothing else then I'll question why we are the only team that can't just get deals done.

Yeah like when Schniderlin was better than Dele Alli and Soldado better than Kane

Lemar could be shit for us.....Edwards could rip it up. You don't think that's possible for some reason despite recent history showing that it exactly what has taken us forward over big money signings

The whole "winning the transfer Window" thing is just so infantile anyway. It reminds me of how football has changed, or is it that young people are becoming more ignorant? It's the kind of crap that comes out the mouths of middle class, metro-sexual, flip-flop wearing, media savvy gobshites.

Or like when steven caulker was better than verthongen, or when jordan archer was better than lloris. We may aswell ditch transfers just promote every youth player who comes through the ranks into the first team. Edwards is 17 and has played 15 mins of football, Kane was 20 when he broke through and had countless loans and alli had 2 seasons of league 1 football under his belt.
