Occasionally I listen to Jim White on Talksport. He, without fail, will take the corporatist or unfair position on any given issue. Yesterday he was arguing for playing competitive league games abroad. Mysteriously (wink wink) a couple of African guys called up claiming foreign fans have the right to watch league games in their own country. Jim White, during these ridiculous calls, which were obviously set up, kept exclaiming 'exactly'. Whilst he is obviously a contrarian to bolster his own brand, I do get the impression he believes the shit he says. If he had his way there would be a European super league and no home stadiums.
