Won't waste your time, then proceed to do exactly that.

Proving in a nutshell why you can't be trusted. Not to mention you now backtracking on what you said previously. High cowardice from the board coward.

At least have the courage to stand by your flawed opinions.

He hasn't got the courage to do anything other than put people on ignore

A gutless lying little creep!

Cue disagree from his mate John Thomas

He called Mick gay.

Then when Mick basically calls him a twat, he implies Mick is homophobic as it's a "weird thing to get offended by".

Proper slimey

Can the cunt offs fuck off? Tired of reading 8 pages of absolute shit.

We had a great day with all the funnys like 5 days ago or whatever, since then it's like watching a bunch of kids squabble until Christmas suddenly arrives.

The amount of pointless posts is incredible. You've had 613 pages to say your piece. We've heard it all before, we have these exact same arguments every window - "Spend, spend" vs "Use the academy" vs "Buy one marquee player".

Give it a rest guys. I'm here to see if we sign a player or who we're linked to, not to hear people argue about the clubs strategy.

He wasn't a star before we turned him into one, he was a youth prospect. Lamela was the same. VdV was not really a star either, given he couldn't get a game at Real Madrid
Sorry but this is just completely wrong.

Nor could other non stars get a game at Real, like Wesley Sneijder, Guti, Robben and Michael Owen.
If he wasn't a star why did we all go cock-a-hoop when we signed him?
And Modric was a star, he'd already bossed international games vs England and was talk of the town.

As for Spurs long record of making people stars.... I guess you dont remember Dean Austin, Alton Thelwell, Lee Barnard and Paul Mahorn. Our record has been as hit and miss as anyone's.

I think even if we get 2-3 smart buys (i.e. Young players with low costs but high turnout if successful) it wouldn't quell the grunt brigade. They want us to splash some 40-50m, doesn't matter on who, just to show we're in the mix with the big clubs.
Now there is a rationale there, we should, every couple of seasons bring in someone big, that's part of the signaling game that players take note of when they consider a club. But in no way is it essential to do so every summer (especially as the league runners up with arguably the strongest XI when fit)

But we proved last season we couldn't juggle both the league and CL. I can't believe people are agreeing with this that we don't need signings. We do most definitely need signings and we need to add to our squad. It's ridiculous if we are the only club in the whole league not to have made a single signing.

I agree we didn't juggle well but also missed some key players due to injury (Kane and Alderweireld) and our league form wasn't at its best during much of that period.

I'm not saying we don't need to add but also think we could and should have done better with the existing players and think we will do better this year even if we don't add.
