Notice how he talks about clubs for whom it would be a "tragedy" to not make the CL, and half of them actually didn't play in it last season

I noticed. These fuckers genuinely fear that we could be successful without significant financial investment in the team. Unlike their model.

Could is the optimal word here, those that like to neg my posts.

Antonio Conte questions Tottenham's Premier League title ambitions

What a knob. Trying to interfere with our preparations and unsettle our players - get them to think that they should leave cause we wont win anything because we don't buy expensive players. Can't improve unless you buy expensive players? True for Conte no doubt, but not for decent managers like Poch. I hope Poch shows him he is talking bullshit this season by winning the title without spending money. Let's start by beating the expensive Chelsea team early on. And he can forget Kane, even for £100M we wouldn't sell him. And he wouldn't want to go anyway. That's what you get when you develop your own youth you fucking dick.
What I'm getting fucked off with is we are now being vilified for NOT spending these obscene amounts of money.

Instead of being praised for achieving what we are while being financially responsible and giving youth a chance we are being criticised for not being ambitious. It makes me sick.

The only reason Conte is saying this is because the alternative is to admit that Poch is proving himself to be a far superior manager by competing with him WITHOUT spending the money they are spunking. Same goes for Mourinho.

By being where we are and challenging at the top we are proving that these so called "genius" managers are reliant on spending huge amounts of money to stack the deck in their favour.

It almost makes me want us to actually sign no one and prove a point next season as a big fuck you too everyone else.

other news

The Premier League has been awarded a High Court order for the forthcoming 2017-18 season, which will help it combat the illegal streaming of games.

The blocking order will require UK Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to prevent people from illegally accessing streams of its matches.

"This blocking order is a game-changer in our efforts to tackle the supply and use of illicit streams of our content," said Premier League Director of Legal Services, Kevin Plumb.

"It will allow us to quickly and effectively block and disrupt the illegal broadcast of Premier League football via any means, including so called 'pre-loaded Kodi boxes'.

Fucking BS! I pay shitloads to get to watch Spurs, but the cunt broadcaster I have to rely on chose Pool, United and Wool over us 10/10 times if we play simultaneously. The "you can only air one game at a time" rule should disallow them to ban streaming.

Cunts!

.
If we don't sell any more of our top players for obscene amounts of money, like Walker then you may have a point. But we can't expect the media to lavish us with praise for our moral approach if ,on the one hand were happy to extract these extortionate transfer fees from others without re-investing some of it in transfer fees ourselves.

Nonsense. If someone wants to pay me way more than my house is worth i will sell it to them, doesn't mean i have to then buy another house over what i consider to be fair value.

Hahahaha are you sure you're Spurs?

Any fucking chance you have to have a dig you take it.

I have actually seen that same argument on two other teams forums. Spurs are to blame for rising transfer fees because they demand too much for their players.
This is a whole new branch of economics i was hitherto unaware of called 'Cuntonomics'. You live & learn.

Clubs selling for high fees isn't the problem. If you've got some idiot stupid or desperate enough to pay 50m for a RB then u take it. Especially when ur building a stadium.
