We need quality though, not average players. To get quality you need to act early and we haven't done that. It'll be like when we signed saha and nelson or dempsey and siggy. All decent players who gave a shit (which I admire and am grateful for)' but not players that will challenge the starters and take the team to another level. Given we've sold one of our best 11 players to a rival and haven't re-invested any of that into the team we've actually weakened ourselves. It's slightly concerning with the season being only 4 days away.

Also, none of those players, whilst underwhelming signings, did poorly for us. Dempsey especially was good.
We put up players in West Lodge Park Hotel, which is about 5 min drive from Hotspur Way in Hadley Wood, which is not in London.
Unfortunately he has a release clause of £42.5 million.

It'a totally different scenario all together. It was a case of medical before signing compared to he can not play. Son can pass a medical but he can't play.

We were linked back in May and then again a few weeks ago as he demanded a new contract.
His contract is up in 12 months time.
Whilst it's nice to hear Poch say 3/4 signings are hopefully happening and we are close to making them, I still have this feeling that Levy will drag his heels and mess around like usual. Until they are at Hotspur way having a medical then I won't get to excited just yet.
