Chelsea have been linked with Barkley too. Though I guess if both were Chelsea bound they'd be at the same hotel?

He's still at Everton because we are the only one's who want him. I reckon a 25mil deal will be done in the next 1-2 weeks.

Barkley is not Chelsea's first choice but if they do not get their first choice they may buy him if still available.

but also why we leave it until the last minute in the hope all the richer clubs are finished buying and settled, if we try to do it early any player that improves us improves all the richer clubs and they just pop in and get them.

It's my only ITK I can claim, go check out the Son thread before we signed him if you don't believe me. I can state as a matter of cast iron fact that West Lodge Park Hotel is used by the club, to tuck away players when required.

It doesn't make it gospel that all of them will use it, I guess that's arranged/negociated between parties?? Some own houses in Hadley Wood that are left empty and they stay in them when they play a London team or let a mate stay in them, Jay-Jay Okocha, Michael Brown, Ferdinand (Rio and Anton) and Bentley are just a few who own about 10 properties all empty, all mansions and used about 3 times a year.

Let's imagine your best mate is Levy's PA. He/she has confidentially agreements and would be sacked (and probably lose their career) if they were found to leak information.

They give you a subtle hint at someone that has been talked about as a signing, but have to be vague in case it comes back to them.

You'd have to be a right twat to drop them in it, and it's hardly narcassim to share?
