Ex-Spurs Player Danny Rose

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm getting more and more angry by this. Just yesterday Verts and Moose were chatting away , all contented with life at spurs and how things were going. Then some spoiled brat takes a big fat dump on their heads because he wants 3 lambos instead of just the two. :pochbye:

Deep down there I am not surprised. Seeing the ridiculous amounts of money being thrown around for wages I can only imagine the frustration of a 'loser' like Rose that signed a long term contract for 'only' 65k-ish earlier. I know we are talking about millions and the top 1% but once you get to those heights it doesn't matter, the mindset is the same.
When you have mid-table clubs paying players 2-3 times of Roses wages you can only expect unrest in a team that plays for a club that has better financials, even if there is a stadium being built.
Both players have the same agents, so probably both of them are being fed the same story.

They knew, this is the flip side of being more home grown, you don't get the maturity you get with foreign players

this isn't a surprise, he did a similar interview a few months ago - albeit it that one he gave the impression it was other players that felt this way.

totally unprofessional but not naive at all - purely done by design to force either a sale or a big new deal.

bit cuntish on his part but i'd be far more pissed off if he left than i was walker.

I really thought he was bolder and braver. I thought he was one of those players that wanted to do the right thing and battle the moneybags teams rather than pull his knickers down for them.

He doesn't think the bulge in the back of his jeans is big enough, but all this interview shows is the bulge at the front isn't big enough.

:dembelefingers:

I imagine he has been told what to say by his agent and has been very naive. Can we refuse to deal with the agent (on any transfers) and tell Danny to replace him before we talk about letting him go

I would drag it out this window and let him go January. This will give time for a replacement to get settled in and won't be benefit rivals.

I don't think he has a strong enough personality to affect the team's morale. He is too much of a coward to voice opinions to Verts, Dier, Lloris

We need to just pay the cunt more money. Simple as that. We cant sell our first choice right back and now our first choice left back before the new season starts if we are going to mount a realistic title challenge for fuck sakes!!!

Like it or not winning the league isnt a primary objective right now.

On one hand I feel like we should get rid asap for as much as we can milk, on the other hand I think we should let him train with the kids and rot for a season to make an example of him. But neither is a satisfying resolution, it's just a fucked situation either way.

What I mean, put simply, it's there are more attributes that contribute towards happiness. Ignoring all others when looking to enhance earnings is a fools errand.

For example, he could chase money by joining City, when they haven't exactly been very effective at winning trophies or providing stability

I know this, I agreed with it too. What i am saying is he obviously knows that City will continue to throw unlimited money at things until they win things. Doubling, trippling his wage whilst doing the same job has to be considered. Anyone in the real world or football world would think twice about it. He also mentioned being closer to his family. Again who are we to say that its purely about money. Money plays a massive part of anyone looking to change jobs amongst other things. Personally if we keep our team as it is and add to it, we will be more successful then City. They are a financial ruin just waiting to happen

Just thinking back to all the excuses we've heard so far instead of just admitting it's about money:

"I want Champions League football"
"I want to be at a club challenging for the league"
"I want to break into the England team"
"I want the club to sign more players"
"There's not enough competition for places"
"I want the club to sign less players"
"There's too much competition for places"
"I want to move North (or to South West London)"
"I want a new challenge"

Maybe with cross rail it will be easier to get back up north from Stamford Bridge?
its not about the money.......

Make the Cunt stay... Then once we are 4-0 against Chelsea in our first home game game at Wembley, bring the mercenary Cunt on and let him receive the abuse he deserves..

We'll see just how sensitive he is then..

That's the ideal solution to this summer...get everyone together, get out there on the pitch and stick it to the lot of them! Walker, Rose, Citeh, Manure, Chelski, the lot of them!! Whether Rose is in the stands watching or in another city, it'll still feel amazing to us!
