If you look to your left, you'll see woolwich selling their best players 2 days before the end of the window, City still trying to sign the same player they've been after for about 4 months, Liverpool with their best player on strike and still trying to sign the same players they've been after for about 4 months, Chelsea resigned to going after the back up England team and one of their best players still on strike.
Meanwhile, they all seem to be fighting to sign Johnny fucking Evans

Er City and Chelsea have done the majority of their business. Liverpool have signed Salah and Robertson who go straight into the first 11 and signed Keita for next season. They also have 120m odd coming in from Coutinho and can replace him already with Mane and Coutinho.

I think the plan was Coutinho back in midfield, he bossed it there in 13/14 where they let the title "slip".

That's bloody formidable, Keita probably improves on Can who appears to be running down his contract and probably takes the spot of Lallana. Lemar replaces Coutinho in 12 months when they sell him to Barca. Still leaves Origi, Sturridge, Solanke, Can, Wijnaldum, Milner and Lallana as ST/AM/CM depth. Far better than ours imo.

I agree on senriment but won't make or break season but will suggest huge ineptitude if we have no contingency.

To be me he sounds a little bit tired of the same questions. He has clearly stated that they have targets and will only sign the right players. He also refuses to be drawn into commenting on transfer rumours but still the press ask the same dumb questions e.g.
Press: what do you think of this player
Poch: I don't comment on other players and teams

I don't honestly believe we will know if Poch has the hump until the window closes. To date the four we're almost over the line on are players most are super chuffed with. If we get another 2/3 what's the problem?
I think he's putting pressure on him, but at the same time I don't think he would lie to the fans like that. As far as I know he hasn't lied to us before.
The same Chelsea that Conte wants "five players" for before Thursday?
The same Robertson who hasn't gone straight into the first 11?
