One last thing: there was only so much we could do before we get that huge increase in wage spending that can come with the new stadium. Just one more year...

Don't get too excited. Since we started planning the stadium, the proportion that match-day revenue contributes to turn-over has shrunk.

Personally, i think we could afford a slightly better wage structure now, but Levy is making sure we're on a sound footing and have the extra revenue from the new stadium in place, before we re-structure the wage bill. I wouldn;t expect us to suddenly start offering much more than 100k though. Maybe to a select few.

Im feeling elated overall. Idk whether Andre Gomes rumor is genuine or not. But cant shakes the bad feeling the news caused. Somebody said that Poch adamant we need to sign him. Although it is weird because he has international game. Has anynof these players complete a transfer?

I'm very satisfied.

And that is before I look at the dealings at Woolwich and Spam.

And the fact that Kopp didn't buy defenders. Again.

So, to summarise, we're one of the only top clubs in the league who aren't stuck with one of their best players who put in a transfer request and didn't get his move?

Liverpool: Coutinho
Chelsea: Costa
Southampton: van Dijk
Woolwich: Sanchez
Leicester: Mahrez

Etc..

"Oustanding globetrotting work. Former West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison has joined Mexican side Atlas."

Hahahahaha, what a fucking career. Dear me.

Costa to Atletico, Coutinho to Barca (and possibly Mahrez) can all happen tomorrow, though.

Big names and strange didn't get the move.
Apparently Coutinho can still be sold to Barca as Spanish window closes tomorrow. Same applies Costa to Atlhetico.

p.s. Didn't know Mahrez actually put in a Trf request tho...

Reckon his 'awol' could lead to an extended strop. Seems the type....
