It always puzzled me. I don't like the fact of Liverpool having all these supporters from all over the place who only started supporting them because they were good, but other than that I have no particular hatred for them. I like going to Liverpool/Everton as I like the city and find scousers to be good people on the whole.
City have directed far more vitriol and bile at us over the years than Liverpool have, besides the whole money thing they just seem to hate us more and they love a bit of anti-semitism too. Whereas a lot of our support seems to hate Liverpool more than City? I always thought perhaps it was fans who don't go to away matches but that doesn't seem to always be the case...can understand the older lot hating them as I know it was a dangerous place back in the 70s/80s but people of my generation and younger I don't understand it.

Not really. Most of their trophies were won in a 20 year period when they had the Littlewoods pools money. They were the City of their day. They’re back to being a poorly run club.

They played well against Utd and should have won. Then followed up with a brilliant performance against Maribor. Lets hope its a bad day for them. They always seem to get excited sgsinst us.

With regards to the game at the weekend, I think we'd be foolish to high press against them like we tried to last season. We have more than enough going forward to hurt them on the counter and try and sit back and soak it up.
If we play to their strengths, it's a 50/50 game in my opinion. If we play a bit more like we did against Dortmund, I feel we have a good chance of beating them this time around.
