No top top striker wants to come here and sit on the bench behind Kane.
No top striker wants to come here and sit on the bench behind Kane and only get paid a basic of £40k a week as they won’t start / won’t get win bonuses etc to make up there money to Premier League Elite standard. If Spurs offered a player £80k a week basic we would have back up of some standard. Cheap cheap cheap. As the birdie says

Dont really want to go into the game. We are bang out of form at the moment for whatever reason. Several players looking miles away from their best - perhaps the worst game i've seen Dier have in a Spurs shirt.
We seem to go through this slump every season and come out the other side fighting so not gonna really lose too much sleep over it.

One thing i have to mention. Once i got to the concourse last night I noticed the away crowd was a little bit more muted than it has been recently. Perhaps it was the weather or the fact it was a Tuesday night. Perhaps our current form had got us a little nervous.

Unfortunately once i took my seat i had to sit through one of the most toxic experiences i've had at a match home or away for a long time. A good 4 or 5 "fans" behind me obviously felt it was their responsibility to make sure our players knew exactly how fucking dog shit they where, every touch, every pass, every cross was met with constant abuse, some of it racially tinged. Worst still they seemed to encourage other fans around them to join in so by the time we were 2-0 down it felt like the whole section was at it.

We were only 3 rows from the front so it was clear that the players could hear it. What do you think that does to their confidence and their energy levels? The usual scapegoats where involved, but not even Kane or Lloris managed to get away with it.

We made a lot of mistakes last night, so its understandable that fans will be frustrated, but the abuse began the minute we kicked off and certain players were getting it in the neck before they'd even received the ball and had a chance to fuck it up! It got me so riled that when we finally scored i turned around and screamed at our own fans to shut the fuck up rather than directing it to the home fans sat 10 yards from me!

I honestly cant express in words how extreme the constant torrent of negativity was. Maybe i've been lucky in the past, i was very selective about where i sat at the lane and have mostly done away games for the last 4 or 5 years, and the main reason for that is because i want to watch my football team in a certain way, surrounded by like minded fans.

Pouring scorn on the team on here as recovery method for fragile egos is one thing but doing it at a match, at an away game even! Fuck off and die and give up your seat to someone who is more deserving of it, i dont care how many games you've been to, you don't support our club like that.

Disgraceful comment.
Who the fuck are you to decide who is or isnt a worthy Spurs supporter.
Shame on you.

Totally forgot there was a game on last night.

I'm guessing we won in emphatic fashion since Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive has reappeared to laud praise on the club he loves?
Hi Jock. As you know, Im here win lose or draw.
Praise when its due. Criticise when I see fit.
Just a balanced approach rather than all this head in the sand, punching above our weight attitude shown by the priveledged few after every poor performance/result

With the new stadium being built this is of no big surprise to me. I was already expecting a rocky season and it looks to be headed in that direction. Once we get this season out the way and put to bed good things will come. The only issue will be in keeping certain players which is an absolute must.

yes it there was a lot of negativatiy from the fans last night when passes/tackles etc were poor, but also support when passes and tackles were made,
dier had his worst game for us, Sanchez has been knocked about last 2 games (must be tired)
the linesman first half was not up with play and got some stick
yes it doen't help players to be on their backs, but they like the praise,
if you are having a bad game, all you can do is make sure you get your tackles in, win the ball

Some games we'll win, some games we'll lose. That's just how it goes. It's not just about the 11 we put out, but the 11 our opposition puts out. No athlete performs at 100% every game, and sometimes that confidence goes.

Sadly John, this was always going to be a rough season, whether we spent a billion or a million on players. Our team are currently nomads, refugees almost. We have no home, and we won't no have a home for the rest of the season. That's going to hurt us, but our boys have done us proud so much this season already.

If I were you, I'd sit with my feet up and enjoy it for what it is. A one off season that won't define anything. Next season we build again. We start to make our new home feel like home. It could become an instant fortress, it could take a while. But we're building something special, and so long as we keep Poch, that won't be changing any time soon friend!
