Under-19 - #U19EURO finals in Finland: all you need to know
Just spotted that the u19 Euros are scheduled for July 16 to July 29th, overlapping with International Champions Cup matches - not clever timing as these days youngsters playing in pre-season matches with their first team is probably essential to get into the first team squad.

Wonder if we can find a way for Japhet Tanganga to play in Spurs pre-season rather than the u19's ? He must be one of the favourites out of all the Development Squad to break into the first team squad from pre-season friendlies surely ? Goalkeepers mature later so its not so critical for Brandon Austin this year as he would get another chance in 12 months time.

Any idea of who played for Spurs other than Chay Cooper ?

Usually friendlies at this time of year are to assess certain players - but not sure for what unless there are one or two players still being considered for the new Academy intake ?

I can't see it, which is really unfortunate for him. But it does give opportunities to Dinzeyi and Eyoma. Tanganga really deserves his chance, but injuries have frustrated him.

It was a team mainly consisting of u17 players, with goalkeeper Charlie Freeman being the exception, though Kurylowicz also got game time. Players like Bowden and Maghoma were involved as were a fair few schoolboys.

I spoke too soon! Our u16's are playing an academy showcase match on Saturday the 12th against Ipswich at Portman road.

Not seen a lot of him in Spurs youth teams this season, (injuries ?) but he seems to be highly rated

Yeah it would seem that way. Started off the season in the u16's but broke his arm and was out for quite a while, has made three fleeting cameos for the 18's this season.
