Liverpool is at best a sideways step from us. I'd argue we're in a better position than them going forwardHoly shit, as I was reading that, I thought the £150m was going to be for a single player.
So in addition to having no idea about the finances, he's also completely deluded regarding the relationship the two clubs currently have (not exactly great) and the fact that the players would want to go somewhere a little *higher* in quality if they were to leave Spurs.

Obviously singing Bale would be amazing. Every club would sit up and take notice, he’d be the missing piece for us to win trophies in England and maybe Europe. Wages is the problem though. He’d probably want £250k minimum and then a £80m+ transfer fee.
Then I think we could spend the £100m Levy has apparently promised, plus player sale fees and go after 3-4 players we really lack. Zaha, Martial, De Ligt and Jorginho/Rabiot would be an amazing window.

As regards Collymore’s buffoonery, all jokes aside, at least he recognises that we are a team with genuine A listers and he wasn’t daft enough to mention Kane in his silly little tweet. Still, what a fucking tool he is.
