I have Spurs sweatbands on my wrists. And a silk scarf that alternates hourly between being wrapped round my waist and being worn as a headband.
Easily the most baffling part of this is that, with greatly enhanced media exposure as a result of the new stadium... we haven't capitalised on it with a glamour signing. For once, the eyes of the world will be on us and our high profile WC players - a big new signing would have doubled down on that publicity.
He gave himself a pay rise of over 3m and couldn't secure 1 fucking signing. Shambles to say the least.
Why do they still big up the deadline day?? it's such a damp squib. Hardly any deals done these days, they are living off DD 10 years or so ago.

Was perusing the live DD chat one of our big papers up here are hosting and someone showed up going "I CAN'T BELIEVE SPURS ARE NOT SIGNING ANYONE WTF" and the journo responded with "You still have one of the strongest teams in the league, I think you can relax".

A reminder that it's how we perform off the pitch, not how many signing we (don't) make, that's important. We've got a load of players coming back from the World Cup who will have grown as players off the back of their experience. Players who have experienced actually winning a penalty shoot out. Players who have got to semi finals, and one who actually won the world cup. How many times have we had a current player do that? Our team is strong as fuck, and all know each other inside out. No having to get to know each other needed. No trying to find out what our best team is. It could be a big positive.
Not to buy a single player is a calculated and wholly financially based decision. We offer this and nothing more.
Where we are short is in the striker position if Kane gets injured and Llorente keeps doing what he did last season.
It does nothing to refresh the squad and adds no competition so all that now falls squarely at Pochettino's door.

He needs to do the fucking "clear the air talks" with the Club. Why hasn't he done this?
Why do the club need to approach him to correct something that he did, was fully aware of and is now regretting because he has now become a squad player for Club and Country.
I have zero sympathy for him, he decided to make those comments, did it in the mainstream media, embarrassed his Manager, Chairman, fellow team members, fans, and has ended up the laughing stock of the Club.

Be thankful to levy and Enic mate. It’s not like the coach is the biggest source of our success in the last years. Without poch we would qualify 0 times to the champions league these years. And thank god literally, kane appeared in our ranks.
