Match Unstoppable force (Watford) vs Immovable object (Spurs) Sunday 2 September

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This is what you get when you have the arrogance to believe your team is good enough and you don't spend any money to keep improving.
Shit results against fucking Watford.

What a fucking twisted logic right here.

Alli, Eriksen and Kane were all shit today, so your suggestion is that we should have bought replacements for everyone?

Lack of signings is literally the last thing you should be concerned about.

We were getting ran over in the mid and Poch had Dier and Winks on the bench. He had time after the 1-0 to sub them on.
I love Poch but this defeat is purely based on his stubborness not to make early changes and key players playing like shit.

Credit to Watford. We didn't respect them in the first half, and weren't prepared for them in the second. Sloppy, sloppy finishing.

The only thing I blame Poch for is not making a change when Watford began to surge; Winks' sub came far too late. Otherwise, he warned the players publicly that he wasn't happy with their last performance, and that he expected better. Instead they went for a Sunday stroll and were shocked when Watford had other ideas.

Funny how we were laughing at the bin dippers and how shit they looked against the likes of Brighton and Palace yet we were just as shit as they were if not worse against Watford.

Blowing a 1-0 second half lead without ever bringing on a defensive midfielder was poor by Poch. Got at least draw in that situation.
Someone joked that he looked hungover, but he genuinely did. Really dreadful body language today - possibly because he's as confused about the underperformances as we are.

Would normally see him prowling on the touchline encouraging the players. Weird.

Would nearly have preferred losing to United and beaten Watford.
Well points wise... that May as well have happened!
We allowed ourselves to get bullied...

Our goal galvanised THEM... that defies logic, but it happened... their fans, their players, the whole feeling of the match changed on our goal, and you know why...? When we went 1-0 up, you just KNOW some of them thought (if only briefly) "job done" THAT was suicide right there!

This is Levy's fault. No competition for places, no players on the bench to change the game. Title challengers? You're having a laugh I'm afraid.

Really really poor. Watford bullied us and we didn't have the guts for the fight. Hindsight and all that but the fact Poch decided not to play a destroyer/defensive midfielder against a team of 11 absolute shithouses is extremely naive.
Disaster that we have to face into an International break now, but on to the Scousers I guess.
COYS

We were always going to drop points sooner or later. And the season is long. But this performance irks me. Uninterested and uninspiring. Time for the lads to go on a international break and recharge.

Fair play to Watford who put in a shift and did well. We need to get a sports psychologist on staff because us dropping points to "lesser" teams after a big win is starting to become a habit

Good to see some level headed posts, mistakes cost us and Watford were decent that’s why they have won 4/4, not this one off, disappointing performance

We were never going to win 38 games, life isn’t like that, onto the next game COYS
