Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Some so called supporters don’t delude themselves into believing that we are on a par with elite clubs and try fashion narratives where the normal hierarchy of the game somehow doesn’t apply to us.
You're just a negative cunt, know our place, we're not an elite club, concentrate on domestic cups and forget the Champions league etc etc. Just fuck off and do one, i can't fucking stand you and fans that think like you.

United are a mile away from competing with City & in the CL. FFs, we turned them over a couple of weeks ago. If the FA cup & Europa Cup aren’t good enough for united, Poch wouldn’t last there because it’s a club that demands immediate success. They don’t build anymore. They just go out and spend more than anyone else on players like Zlatan & Sanchez, hoping that they strike gold.
That wouldn't stop him from going there, he'll be given money to spend and a chance to mold the side in his own image.

So they give him a new contract in January but then sack him June for the manager he finished above? Pure fantasy land.

United are the richest club in the game - if they wanted our manager then they would make a move whenever they wanted. And I would be stunned if he turned them down, if people can understand how we took him away from Southampton then they should be able to understand how United can do this to us.
He was always going to leave Southampton as soon as Cortese went. He is on record saying it was a matter of principle and loyalty to Cortese & how Saints has dealt with that situation.
If you want to believe that United wouldn’t take Pochettino in a heartbeat, then fair enough.
I just happen to think that he is happy building something special here and is being given the time to do it. A rarity in the modern era

He may find the prospect of having a transfer budget to work with quite attractive. Especially if he goes another year or two without a major trophy on his CV while being forced to work on a shoestring with us.

Then he shouldnt have signed for 6 extra years with a club that has a policy of not spending huge amounts on transfers.
You claimed he was livid and would walk, yet the likes of Poch, Dier and Kane have all backed our window:

Heres what Dier had to say.....remember he says "everyone"....not "other teams fans".

The squad and manager cannot wait to shut the likes of you up John.

"It's a great challenge for us to shut everyone up, really," he said. "We're going to enjoy that challenge. We've got a fantastic squad here, fantastic players throughout the team in every position.

"To strengthen it is not easy as well. You can look at all the other teams around us -- they might have signed players, but not many of those players that they've signed are better than the players they've already got.

"Obviously there are signings that have been made which are players of high quality, but in many cases I don't believe that they've signed players that are better than they already have."

"We all really enjoy training together, playing together, being with each other," he added.

"The manager said it before -- we're in a fight but we're having to use different tools.
"We've known that for the last three years and we have to try and compensate for what other clubs can do in different ways, with our attitude, our work ethic, our desire."

Bolded part is particularly amusing in terms of trouncing your fake idea that Poch is unhappy with the clubs policy, when the fact is he is its biggest advocate.

Now Im going to hazard a guess and say that Dier knows a bit more about the club policy and Pochs views than you, but enjoy putting your delirious spin on his words that end up meaning everything said was actually the total opposite and backs your views, as always.

You're still on the outside, looking in, and not a part of it John.

I didn't say he was going to leave during the summer. He wasn't offered the united job and managers always stick to their contracts don't they?

And I didnt say he would be here for life, but you had no issues throwing that in.

If Pochettino was unhappy, he wouldnt have signed.

The doomsday brigade will always bang on about "if we dot win stuff everyone will leave" while forgetting that its up to Poch and the players to win something.
Too many of our fans dont understand the nature of Spurs 2018.

We are not, and will never be "like" Utd, Liverpool, or Chelsea.

That doesnt mean we wont be successful, it means that we are doing it differently. I dont understand why so many of you try to project your own dissapointed and fears off as that of the managers.
Just accept that Pochettino disgrees strongly with your ideas of how this club should be run. Thats all there is t it.

You're either with him, or against him. There is no such thing as slating the policy but backing Poch. He IS the policy.

I don't know about the previous debates you've been having with others, but I consider myself a realist.
If we don't win things, I would very much expect our best players to want to leave, it is up to them to win things and in ideal world they would knuckle down and do just that, but in modern football it's not likely.

As for you're either with or against him, I disagree that you can't criticize Poch or a policy without being against him. There is no one who is above criticism, if a player doesn't perform and he gets criticized it doesn't automatically mean that people don't support him any more.

And he is on record stating that he was fully committed at Southampton and that it was a completely different situation to when he first stated those comments. He left Southampton because he had a better opportunity present itself just like he did when he left Espanyol for PSG. That’s what working professionals do in the game so I really don’t understand this narrative being presented here - it’s divorced from reality. He will remain as our manager as long as it serves both parties. We shown numerous times in the past that we will drop a manager when they no longer perform. The whole notion of time in football is utterly laughable.

Watch out everybody we have one those ‘real’ supporters here.

In reality you are just another fantasist completely detached reality who feeds his delusion with endless comfort narratives.

Go fuck yourself ya negative twat, always on a downer about the club you purport to love. Know our place and don't dare to dream of better things. The only thing i'd like to feed you is your own fucking teeth, one by one. What a fucking sanctimonious, self opionated boring cunt you are.
