You claim to be a realist, but your living out a false reality which hasnt happened.
Its not about a poor performance.
Its about somebody systematically berating a policy, year after year, and slagging off the club as a bunch of cheap cunts, who only want to make money and dont give a shit about trophies........but then trying to cuddle up to Poch and pretend he is somehow not part of the the system they despise so strongly.

You seem to think Spurs can offer more than Real Madrid or Utd can. You do realise that Jose is on 15M a year dont you......I doubt he stayed because he couldnt earn better elsewhere

has it ever crossed your mind that the "showdown talks" were pochettino, his lawyer, and levy finalising terms on his contract, and the whole of the written press got it wrong (not for the first time this summer here we are concerned)
Isnt the same Guillem Balague that he wrote his book with, and is a close friend with (wasnt Pochettino quoted as saying he only wrote the book cos it was with Balague, tho i aint claiming thats gospel and cant be fucked to find out if it is true)

No, it hasn't. And as much as any negative press tends to get ridiculed and brushed aside, I tend to give it more credence than than the musings of a few posters on here

I agree. And I think given what he's achieved with no financial backing, i.e 3 consecutive seasons of CL , he fully deserves his pay rise.
But he said himself he wants to win big titles. And he's unlikely to achieve that with the lack of financial backing he gets here.
He can't keep swimming against the tide forever.

Love him or hate him Mourinho's record probably gives him the right to earn that kind of salary. I doubt they would offer Poch that much.
In fact I'd hazard a guess that Poch is the highest paid manager in the world not to have ever won anything. Though feel free to prove me wrong.
