I feel it. I just don’t want to. I want to grow up. Worrying about a football team is not something I wanted to do in my forties. If you feel nothing - might as well follow billiards or curling

Think the only time I've felt like Poch disrespected the cup competitions was the Europa League in 15/16. The Dortmund line ups and performances were just not Spurs of that season.
....And that ladies and gents - unlike our current predicament - is/was what constitutes a "lack of depth".
Sold by then.
Onomah started though. We just decided we didn't want the Europa League and wanted to go all out to try and catch Leicester.
You are on to something. Our tactics are in large the same as when Poch cam in, and is a style of play that relies on young players that just can't stop running. With an older squad it does need tweaking to suit the squad. There are three winnable league games until the next international break. Brighton will be tough - especially from set pieces, but have only won two league games in fifteen (both against Man Utd). Then we have in my eyes the two weakest teams in the league - Huddersfield and Cardiff. There is a good opportunity to get to the international break with 18/24 points. Also we have the Watford Cup game and Barcelona at Wembley which hopefully we get the job done.
We need to get our identity back. I don't believe the players have it in them to press like maniacs every game anymore. I think you hit a point where youthful exuberance of two years ago gets countered by the mind. Young players will run through brick walls to make an impression - these guys aren't young anymore and quite a few of them are physically waning. We needed fresh blood just to refresh the squad if anything.
However if the manager can get a plan in place where we don't have to run like dogs but play more smart and zippy passing I think we have the players to do so. Rather than reviving the pressing game I think our best bet is to become a better possession team. And perhaps some youth like KWP, Amos and Skipp could be given a few cameos to begin with. Maybe it will take an untested kid to grab his chance and lift the spirits of everyone else up.
Ah, that's right it was the leicester season... Was thinking of the year before when Soldado froze with 2 men vs a keeper to beat. Florentina away i think...
Yes, pretty much, we did.
So he signed three decent managers since he took over in close to 20 years. Jol, Harry and poch. His job is to run the club and he failed multiple times on choosing a competent football manager and when he finds a fucking great one that does the work with little money compared to rivals we can’t say he got lucky finnaly?Levy is lucky he sacked AVB, hired Poch, and pays him 8M a year?
Nothing to do with being a chairman who made the right choices? Poch just fell out of the sky and landed on his desk...

Why some of you make Enic and levy the be all of tottenham? They don’t care about the supporters, they don’t care about you. They care about making money and making the most profit possible about Tottenham. We will be sold in two years max. They did a good job taking as to this level but they won’t take us further. It’s not on the plan to spend more and win things.
And you think this is different from any other top flight club in football how?Why some of you make Enic and levy the be all of tottenham? Yes, pretty much, we did.
United have one of the best goalkeepers in Europe. De Gea.
They played him.
We also have one of the best goalkeepers in Europe. Hugo.
We dropped him for a bit part squad keeper in Vorm. A shadow of Hugo Lloris.
For what reason? Because of a gentleman's agreement that says he'll be our domestic cup keeper?
For the FA Cup SEMI-FINAL
De Gea at one end, Vorm at the other.
We entered that game having lost 6 semi finals in a row, and we all know how the game unfolded.
If that's not disrespecting the FA cup, I don't know what is.
If that's not disrespecting the supporters, I dont know what is
That Opportunity you talk of ONLY exits because of Poch. How you fail to see this is truly staggering.
You're talking numbers/money here I assume...Bit dramatic there. Football and the premier league are possibly at their most popular level than theyve ever been. Nothing is KILLING football.
That’s such a staggeringly stupid statement to make.
Really - did he bring the likes of Lloris, Walker, Rose, Dembele, Jan and Kane to the club? Was he responsible the consistent top 5 finishes since 2005?
Again more revisionist nonsense - we have been a team good enough to win a UEFA cup, FA cup, league cup since 05. Nothing has changed in that regardbut just like Redknapp he hasn’t delivered any of that despite the players he has available.
How often has our result ruined your weekend? I know it has mine on more occasions than I can remember.I feel it. I just don’t want to. I want to grow up. Worrying about a football team is not something I wanted to do in my forties.
My life would be ruined without football. How often has our result ruined your weekend? I know it has mine on more occasions than I can remember.
Why do we put ourselves through this? We are strange breed Spurs fans and football fans in general ,to be fair.
