One of the cm's off for Llorente or Kane if he's on the bench which I missed.

We need someone to be able to use to manipulate their defenders out of position for the runners now we're actually commuting to the space behind the lines imho

Last 5 has been far more positive and how we used to play when Walker and Rose were on top form - still using the wings but not just going side to side, instead taking your man on with pace and whipping a ball in on the deck. much better

This game was always going to be hard.
Too many players having comebacks.
Defence has been exposed from the off.
3 defensive midfielders in the middle should be able to smother them.

Can’t risk any other players though can we.

We are capable of doing something, but I feel they will probably get another as we are a bit too sloppy.

its what I'd expect from the players we have out there, playing a game against a team that want to

a. Not concede
b. Not concede
c. Not try too hard, in case we concede
d. See if they get sloppy and give us a chance

they might have had 3 on target but most of us could have stopped them

We'll have to disagree on this one pal. I don't think we are making them work for it anywhere near as much as we could be. I've seen at least five occasions in the first half where passing ahead of the player instead of to feet or players being flat footed and wanting ball to feet where it would have got them running backwards which would give our central attacking players the chance to hold back into space or attack near posts or penalty box gaps to make the most of getting in behind them and we never seem to want to take calculated risks. For me it's too timid for Tottenham, just how I see it but in small doses that seem to be getting bigger by the game with certain individuals. I don't think the belief attacking wise and defensively is full throttle at the moment. The simple pass gets played very frequently and too much for my liking I want to see some of our boys on their toes a little more and anticipation levels taken up a notch regardless of what Watford are doing to nullify it. Our defenders should be able to cope if we lose possession and someone is out of position

We'll get a goal, but our decision making is awful tonight.

Winks is upping it this half. He should play with this energy at all times. Driving forward, not sitting on the ball.
