If we are looking for a dynamic CF that can also play wide Werner, Rodrigo, Ben Yedder, Williams or Thorgan Hazard are the best options that would definitely add value to this current squad.

Regarding N'Dombele being allegedly valued at double the previous amount by Lyon...

Aside from posturing by their chairmen, here's something to consider: would £72m (or thereabouts) be so ridiculous if he was able to complete our midfield in a similar fashion to Van Djik sorting Liverpool's defence out at £75m?
:sonhmm:

Vorm, Janssen, GKN, Llorente, Dembele, Wanyama - all on "suicide watch". FB's cant be sorted out in winter and others all good.

Perfect window would include signing a CB, CM and FC.

Only seen him a couple of times. Very one footed. Supposed to be in cracking nick at the moment.

With someone like that, he would just go straight back on loan anyway. Makes no sense for him to warm our bench when he could be playing week in week out for another side.

Is he one footed? When I watched his highlight video, I initially thought he was right footed. (But obviously it's a highlight video, so obvious caveats apply.)

For me £72m is too big a risk for someone who, if he doesn't crack it will be worth less than half that in the future.

I think we as a club need to be looking to to buy the Ndombele types before they hit the big time. Targets like De Ligt, De Jong & Ndombele when they were being touted 12-15 months ago are the kind I want to see us nab. Personally I'd put Berge in that category and see him as being more attainable based on the risk/ reward factor taken in money wise. If we get him and he flops he'd still come with a sizeable fee, if Ndombele turns out to be a flash in the pan you can be wiping your mouth of c£50m. Our club simply isn't in the position financially to be able to do so at present

He's not one footed he is however very hit and miss but tbf despite the recent up turn in results Hull are a poor side so everything falls on his shoulders. He won't make our first team but if he's to replace GKN it's a great bit of business

If we do sign him might be a good bet to put on that he gets a call up to the senior England squad within the year.

It's a moot point as this signing will never happen time to move onto something more realistic.
