Just read Winks said they did not practice penalties. both the 2 teams I support have a bad penalty record but Southgate got England practicing them and it paid off. With our usual penalty takers injured this was a must. Cannot believe a Coach that plans so well would be so negligent as to not practice penalties before such a big match.
I imagine we haven't had time. We have had an average of 3 days between games. 1 would be recovery then 2 on tactical/formation stuff.

In such a busy period with so many injuries you can't do absolutely everything you need to. The first thing to go is penalties. Training has to be micro-managed.
Especially when we have had to keep chopping and changing tactics and formations to accommodate injuries.

New to the forum, love poch but he is also accountable on the recruitment side. He runs the show and you can't tell me he hasn't sat down with levy numerous times and levy hasn't offered players. He's been too trusting in some players. If he wants to take the final step he has to build his second team around the quality of the last four years.
