Can't even describe how much I love this team, the shifts we are putting in is just phenomenal really.
It would have been a disgrace to football had Newcastle got anything from that game, they might be the Masters of that type of football but shit it's some turgid stuff.
We totally stepped up today everyone put the effort in and tried their best, this is a massive result. At times it felt like they had 14 or 15 players, very disciplined defending.

Credit to Newcastle, they rode their luck and hard work for 83 minutes. Not complaining about the manner of the goal though, a good knockdown by Llorente while he is getting a two handed shove in the back and Son knuckled it in.

You mean the types of games where we dominate control, continually force the other team to make wonder saves, work until the last moment, and pull out a win through sheer determination where we would have lost or tied in the past despite a load of injuries.

Never understood the bottle tag, we are overachievers under Poch with a squad that has far less depth than the likes City or Chelsea on paper. To bottle would be us 15 points clear in the league then failing to win the title.
In the league the only time we ‘bottled’ was when Woolwich caught us during the Leicester season, we where too far behind Leicester but we should never have let Woolwich catch us.
We have disappointed in cups but that is more to do with us prioritising the league and CL due to our thin squad. When levy gives Poch real money (net spend) of around £200-400 mil (which is still less than City/United/Chelsea have used net) and he doesn’t win things then the media can complain but until then we are overachievers not bottlers.
Our squad on paper is the 4-5th strongest in the league and we are 3rd looking at 2nd.
...plus we haven't signed anyone for TWO WINDOWS, so are unofficially not allowed to win games until we do, according to Sky!
