Has done a perfectly fine job imo.
Love Fernando.

Has done a perfectly fine job imo.
He's really not.
Ben Pearce, Alasdair Gold and Dan Kilpatrick are our go-to guys.
Ben Pearce used to do the club annual IIRC and has been covering spurs since 2008, now on Sky.
Alasdair Gold is the Spurs correspondent as is Dan Kilpatrick.
These are our go to guys for any crumb of insider source we go to.
Matt Law is of your Neil Ashton, Martin Samuel ilk.
Curtis is the worst one.He is no Ashton or Samuel, you are way off the mark there. They cannot stand Spurs. Neil Curtis is another, the fat cunt
Matt Law has written many positive articles about Spurs since Poch has been here. He and Jason Burt are the only two non Spurs supporting journos I pay attention to. Martin Lipton is a Spurs fan and a good read at times
I was saying this literally two years ago, but did any one listen to me?...
Biggest problem is that we also face significant home grown restrictions which need to be addressed in order to properly flesh out the squad. Any deals this summer are going to require us making sure we can meet that quota.
Andre Gomes is a very Everton player just like Sigurosson or Tom Davies
One word, meh.
As I recall, the actual number of foreign players is limited because of the number of HG players we have. We can replace the same number, but even the current number is limited because the squad has too few HG players for all the foreign players to be included.Unless we just get rid of the shit foreign players we have and replace them with...... good ones?
Perhaps although I feel like some of our starters really should be in the squad player role.As a squad player I think Andre Gomes would be great. The thing is we have limited funds compared to the rest of the big boys in the league and we have plenty of decent squad players already. We need to invest in heavyweights.
I like Gomes, I'd have him as a squad player if our need to make quality changes wasn't as big an area we are facing. Reluctantly I'll pass on this one, the money should be invested in more of a game changer
He’s a striker. We don’t play 442 mate. And not they good. Works wonders in counter attack tho
50-70 million euros will do the trick
This was me one year agoI was saying this literally two years ago, but did any one listen to me?...
He's been fine.
But it proves signing players with the intent of them having "resale value" is bollocks. If a player can come in make an impact, it's viable financially and Poch wants them, he'll be signed regardless of resale value or age.
Gomes and Grealish. What is the opposite of a hard on?![]()
Tottenham looking to snatch £30m-rated Andre Gomes from under the noses of Everton

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is willing to sanction a £30 million summer move to try to snatch midfielder Andre Gomes from under the noses of Everton.
Gomes has impressed during his season-long loan spell at Everton and the Toffees are desperate to sign him on a permanent deal from Barcelona.
But they are set to face stiff competition from Spurs, as well as other clubs, who believe the 25 year-old could prove to be a bargain.
Tottenham considered signing Gomes on loan in January 2018 and have monitored his progress ever since.
Chief scout Steve Hitchen was at Anfield to watch Gomes in the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton in December and manager Mauricio Pochettino is an admirer of the player
Pochettino has made it clear that Tottenham need to spend this summer, as he plots how to refresh his squad.
Following the departure of Mousa Dembele and with doubts over the future of Christian Eriksen, one of Pochettino’s main priorities will be to strengthen his midfield
Gomes is ready to wait until the end of the season before considering his options, but does not expect to return to Barcelona.
Asked about his future, Gomes said: “To be honest, I try not to think about that. One thing football has given to me is teach me how to manage situations and how to enjoy it day by day
“Every day is a new challenge and every weekend in the Premier League is a new challenge. So I try to think only in the present.
“If I think further ahead than that then I will probably lose my mind in some way. So I am trying to finish the season in the best way possible, give my best in every training session and in every game. We will see in the end.”
Tottenham also retain an interest in Ryan Sessegnon, who is expected to leave Fulham following their relegation, and have previously considered a bid for striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. Norwich right-back Max Aarons and Swansea City’s Daniel James are also on their radar
Despite needing to pay for the club’s new stadium, Levy will make money available to Pochettino this summer that could be boosted substantially by player sales.
Other than Eriksen, there are doubts over the future of Toby Alderweireld, while the likes of Kieran Trippier and Jan Vertonghen could attract tempting bids from elsewhere
HG is an issue but with Dembele, wanyamma and Vorm gone straight away we can get 2 in have no issues with CL and not be any weaker than this year. Ideally 3rd choice gk to be homegrown and its 3 overseas. As I recall, the actual number of foreign players is limited because of the number of HG players we have. We can replace the same number, but even the current number is limited because the squad has too few HG players for all the foreign players to be included.
He's also played in Serie A, so he's not some kid who will get lonely away from home for the first time. He's a very smart option who isn't going to be the focus of attention by our competition. This was me one year ago
Of course I do mate. Super Porto fan. Season ticket and all that ahah but to what matters.
Amazing talent. He’s a all rounded midfielder. Can play either in the dembele role or eriksen. Great passing game either short or killer ones to put some striker in front of goal. Hes easily the best long shot on our league. He’s more dangerous out of the area then in to be fair. Great in dead balls. Either corners or free kicks. Amazing work rate despite not too muscular but he’s also not a short fella. A shame he plays for sporting. He’s a Porto fan. He’s the best midfielder in our league and the best sporting player. Tottenham signing him would be lovely. I’m a fan despite him playing for a rival. He’s also a very “normal” guy like Bernardo silva. He’s a footballer but he’s not a primadonna or a cunt in the field. Just do the business
I’m never wrong about players in Portugal. Deal with it![]()
