He's not saying it's mitigating Poch's point, it's just that whilst Poch can fairly grumble about the schedule thing, they can grumble about other stuff - such as the massive financial advantages we have.
So it's like an our grumbles cancel out your grumbles type of thing.
The advantage
I'm curious to see how Poch approaches this. Looking at our healthy roster...I hope it's really boring.
Mundane 0-0 where we time waste and kick the fuck out of them.
Ah, the romance of football.I hope it's really boring.

I just abused an edam sandwich for lunch. Hopefully a portent of things to come
If we are playing a back three
Lloris
Toby Sanchez Verts
Trippier Sissoko Wanyama Rose
Eriksen Dele
Moura
Back 4 and with Dier’s ability to step back and allow Verts and Toby to push wide and our full backs to get forward then the below for me.
Lloris
Trippier Toby Verts Rose
Dier Sissoko
Moura Dele Eriksen
Llorente
Why not ?The point could be that you can't have it both ways. You can't be part of the biggest league in the world, with all the money that comes with it, yet also expect the Premier League to be as supportive of Tottenham as the Dutch FA and Dutch clubs are of Ajax.
Because the Premier League has far less to gain from Tottenham doing well in Europe than is the case with Ajax and the Eredivisie. The Dutch clubs wouldn't be this supportive if Dutch club football wasn't in the poor state it is.
