Match Tottenham Hotspur v Ajax, Champions League Semi-Final, Tue 30th April

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He has 5 assist and 2 goals in his last 8 games for us...

Him passing the ball 15 yards sideways to Son for Son's goal against City will go down on the stats but it's a pass most players would make. We need Eriksen (and Dele) to step up tonight, orchestrate the midfield, good crosses for Llorente etc. We're seeing nothing from both and any stats you throw don't change that.

Biggest embarrassment is the negativity in our fan base. On here is bad enough. It’s my first time in the South Stand and where I’m at is full of entitled pricks. Fuck me, it is absolutely incredible that we’re here. We should back whoever is in the pitch until the last moment. It’s not difficult.
👏🙌 this exactly, if the fans don’t back the players then we’d be aswell giving up!

Our back 5 worked perfectly away at Dortmund.

So I am not surprised Pochettino tried it today. Biggest problem was the fact that away in Dortmund we had Kane and Son to use and today we have Llorente and Lucas...

Sanchez was pretty bad for the first 30 mins, but he is getting better and better. I think the nerves got him at the beginning.
Have noticed he is one player who seems not to cope with nerves very well, Trips is another one. You could see it in his face before the game. The likes of Son, Rose and Kane are usually great at rising to the occasion in these sort of matches - unfortunately two of those are out!

Eriksen is a pussy. Sorry. Hes now our veteran midfielder, arguably the most naturally talent, been at the club years, but theres absolutely no fight in him. WHERES OUR LEADER??

I know there are high emotions and players want to go on, but there is really no way that Jan should have been put back on without a more thorough check-up. They rushed him back out, and I understand we don't want to be a man down, but it is inexcusable to threaten the long-term safety of a player for that.

Anyone else think the atmosphere is not good enough for a CL semi final? The fans can’t be spectators at this stage they need to be a part of the game, like how Liverpool do it at Anfield on European nights. It’s our lack of experience as a club and fanbase at this stage of the competition.
