Your order of progression sounds about right. Also played RM too (He started RM when he scored 'that goal' against Woolwich)
CM for our academy as well as out on loan at various clubs. Also played LM for us and various clubs out on loan. Redknapp converted him to LB where continued to play at Sunderland, under AVB, Sherwood and Pochettino.
Scott and John etc were correct when we sold Kane and Dele.
Then when Kane and Dele signed new contracts, they were still right because contracts mean nothing and it was just to bump up their price.

Fair do's. I don't remember him starting at CM but then again I don't remember much these days. I blame all the clubbing in the early 00's.
Rose was a LM in our Academy.
He played numerous times in central midfield for our academy in 07 and 08. Even partnered Modric in central midfield during a training friendly in 09.
But he also played left midfield, right midfield and as a striker.
