Which I haven't see anyone suggest for this summer.
My opinion is that it's not black and white. Depends on the league position (and by what magnitude).
Personally, 3rd and 4th are damn near interchangeable and I think making it to a CL final in addition to finishing 4th is preferable to 3rd (definitely makes more money and boosts your UEFA coefficient).
As for this season, I absolutely hope they get bashed with it if we got to the final and they fall just short of the league title. The caveat to that, however, is just how much ground they've put between us and them in 2nd. Then again, our injuries etc give us some mitigating factors this season.
Funnily enough, a deep CL push is exactly what our club needed right now as it'll do wonders for our profile and will no doubt add value to the naming rights deal being sorted.
But some disagreed though.
No one disagrees with signing players this summer.
Disagreeing with comments about signings this summer. Sane shit.

Its ROGUE not ROUGE.
No in the sense that he wouldn't have been with us for three full years before turning 21.If we sign Sessegnon at 18, will he count as club trained player after 3 years?
Then someone needs firing for allowing the squad to become bloated with non-HG players. And then needs firing again for not using a crow-bar to get rid of those that were of no use to us.Pretty sure the plan wasn't to be stuck with players we can't even register for our CL squad because we have a squad bloated full of non HG player, we've paid millions for, and are paying millions in wages that we can't sell?
Because that's the reason we didn't buy anyone last summer, not because we planned not to.
This club has needed a head of recruitment for a while now. As it stands it is Poch and Levy in a form of joint operation because both are control freaks and they already work closely together. Then someone needs firing for allowing the squad to become bloated with non-HG players. I can't see how difficult monitoring a number is!
Is the rule generally 3 seasons with the same club or exact 36 months at the same club?No in the sense that he wouldn't have been with us for three full years before turning 21.
But my understanding is that the homegrown rule you're referring to that UEFA implements only cares that the player has been homegrown in a club in the same nation. So by that standard he should be.
Ah, okay, having a look at this link...Is the rule generally 3 seasons with the same club or exact 36 months at the same club?
And that’s your opinion not a fact.Your opinion.
He's not crap, he has great potential, he's just not experianced and strong enough, but he'll improve.
Harry Kane was crap at 18, understand that. Fucking logic. Like he's completed as player at 18. Clueless
Kane is just an example. 90% of players are not completed at 18 years old. You're clueless, we won't buy left-back for 40M, that's why Sessegnon is the best solution. Poch improved almost every player,he'll do the same with him.And that’s your opinion not a fact.
You think it’s logical to say that because Harry Kane made it, Sessengon will.
Beyond pathetic reasoning.
My logic is that I think he’s crap and I don’t care if he’s 18 and crap or 25 and crap.
I want better than what we have.....I don’t want signings that might be ok in 4 years.
Ok but next season's CL squad will be shorn of Vorm, Alderweireld (probably), Eriksen (possibly), Llorente, Creates space.Ah, okay, having a look at this link...

UEFA Champions League squads: how it works | UEFA Champions League 2016/17
The transfer window for many of the UEFA Champions League sides has closed, so attention now turns to the announcement of their squads for the European campaign. Here's how it works.www.uefa.com
To summarise:
So Sessegnon would be 'association trained', which is good, but you're right that we miss out on him being club trained as you'd need to snap up a player up at 17 or younger.
- 25 man Champions league squad.
- Of that, 8 slots are reserved for 'locally trained'
- Of 'locally trained', a maximum of 4 can be 'association trained', i.e. by another English club.
- The other 'locally trained' must be 'club trained' - i.e. Winks, Kane, KWP.
This also reminds us of how annoying Dier and Davies' situations are - with neither counting as locally trained due to their time in Portugal and being under the Welsh FA with Swansea respectively.
We had something similar before with baldini look how that turned out the club can employ as many individuals as it wants but bottom line is that if levy doesn't want to spend then deals break down. This club has needed a head of recruitment for a while now. As it stands it is Poch and Levy in a form of joint operation because both are control freaks and they already work closely together.
Bringing in someone to handle player recruitment would open up so much time that they could use to focus on other stuff instead.
