This season and the chase for what used to be the pulling elixir of top 4 we are like a cat and 9 lives.

What I do not expect for one moment is that today will provide any relief. That's okay though because Huddersfield, Brighton and Watford owe us nada and so it's only their professional pride at stake. If like Bournemouth yesterday they are already planning the number of jars they will have when on holiday good luck to them.

So for me it's all on next weekend and the facts mean that the odds will still be in our favour until you remember no Kane and no Son.

But Leicester and Burnley are 2 of the 5 clubs you would not want to face on your last day.

Rodgers who I think is a better manager than Pochettino and Dyche will want to sign off next weekend with wins at their home grounds. No doubt, so therein lies hope.

But of course because we cannot even draw games (1 all season is another sign of how weak we have been) United could win both their games (likely) and overhaul us.

But in our hands it will be until it's 9 lives over.

All I saw was Rogers is better then poch. What on earth gave you that idea??!

Please, please, please just one good result today and things will seem so much better. Either United knocked out of the equation of Woolwich left only being able to match our points tally.

Valencia scoring at the Emirates helps so there is no way Emery can play anything but his best side or the side he feels can hold the 2 goal advantage.

I still think he will go strong today. It's not over in the 2nd leg but it's comfortable. maybe Emery doesn't quite really know about the north London rivalry as they got a big chance to get above us by winning the last two games as we look like we can't win a game. I hope their league form continues. Gooners and United drop points then we are sorted but just don't see it. 3rd/4th doesn't matter. We just need to get in there.

It seems the bottom line is if we don't keep 4 status next season then the club is in chaos. This is said taking into account the position we were at few months ago, 3rd in the table with 10 points gap from 4th. We have lost 9 out of the last 10 away matches. The sudden collapse of form and even worse when the other clubs around us are having horrendous results is shocking. What is the reason? Fatigue, manager, Wembley, players quality?
Win next Sunday and all is sort of OK. Wait.

Horrendous day ahead of us. Even if Watford get a point, that means Woolwich will get into top 4. So we would still have to win in last fixture, because Woolwich and Chelsea would be on 69 points. We really fucked this up.

Logic suggest we want Chelsea to fucked this up, but I really really don't want them wankers to get CL football. Chelsea are bad, but not like them, we are used to their success.

Come on now. It's becoming clearer by the day that Notabadsquad is a Dipper. Of course he thinks Rodgers is better than Poch!

Rogers has done fuck all. He finished second from being 7 clear. Give poch a squad then let's see. I'm not saying he doesnt have his flaws but I don't think any other manager would have squeezed as much quality out of the team for so long

Fully expect Brighton to roll over after 10 mins. Especially after their performance against us. Woolwich haven't lost against Burnley since 2008..

United will win both final games 4-0.

Chelsea will snatch their wins.

The past few years I've thought yeah champions league has been fun at times but I wouldn't be bother if we weren't playing in it. That said.. Europa league is an absolute drain and we simply cant afford to be in it.

And although clearly money is the draw for any player we sign, I GUARANTEE it will be used as the excuse for us not signing big players.

In fact, could it be that us dropping down is part of the "rebuilding" Poch is talking about? It would make sense, cheaper younger players would be happy to get game time, what ever is left of our first team can focus on league?

I want to be positive but some of the things I've seen in the last few weeks mean I cant wait for the season to end. Two STRAIGHT red cards in a game? When did that last happen? A bit odd no? I dont want to say it because I feel sick thinking about it but I think it's fairly clear what I mean.

If we get Europa League then that is our fault entirely a fold up of epic proportions.

We've run out of lives. United and Woolwich draw will be good enough for me.
