Much the same D. I’ve slept for nearly two days after some hard nights, and now I’m all out of kilter with my other half. Insomnia is a bastard, but weekends can sort it out. This is a horrible wait isn’t it? It’s doing my head in.

I think it’s messing with all of us.

Yes, the supporters are the custodians of the club, it’s our job to hold every person employed at the club to account be it the chairman, manager or player. Its the supporters who safeguard the interests of the club and its traditions. Managers, chairman and players come and go ( most will readily abandon us at the first sign of a better offer )it’s the supporters and the club that are the constant. All of those parties are accountable to us not the other way around. Its staggering just how many fans who have lost sight of that and who readily disregard and denigrate the club’s history and traditions to defend one of those parties.

Your last sentence sums you up beautifully.
I remember a guy who worked in the stores in one of the regiments I was posted to, who was a private in the Pioneer Corps, possibly the most genuinely stupid human being I have ever met. He had an ingrained and stock response to anything he couldn't deal with in his interaction with humans and that was to call them stupid. He didn't have the intelligence to work out that it was actually him that was the problem.
Credit where it's due though, you can use a keyboard, I don't think Chippy Wood ever mastered that.
