Buying players has become anathema to the club and whilst we hear talk of bids, I think some of that is pure bunkum.

Will be a long summer again, full or with dollops of hope, only to see the better players disappear over the horizon and for a paddock full of excuses to be trotted out as to why one of the richest clubs in the world can't find the players it needs.

I even doubt at times that there is a player wishlist, such is the uncertainty around such decisions.

We need to stay away from some of these Ajax players.

Just get Tielemans instead of Vandebeek.

Obviously some of them are really good but lot's of them have been playing the season of their life.
 
Van de Beek looks like a real gem. The one that seems to go under the radar. Him and Winks would work as an immense partnership.

I do see one big name signing though. Let’s see what magic they can muster because at the moment we are linked with just about every player in world football and we all believe it lol. It’s fake news.

Completely correct - Spurs name is in all transfers just like United because we are riding a wave and they know they will get hits on their website. Everyone needs to calm down and let the club do their business.
 
Van de Beek would suit us. Similar to Aaron Ramsey who I rate, but I think under Poch he’ll turn out even better. Would take him if he really wants to come. Don’t think he’d be another Klassen. He did the business against the likes of Juve and Madrid and gave us a handful.

He's a bloody intelligent player who makes some fantastic runs creating space for others and chances for himself.
