Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

£55m a fair price for a guy with one solid season under his belt? Personally I think it's pretty fair but I doubt Aulas will deal at that figure.

£60m is tops and Aulas if offered that should bite our hand off. That's a very good deal for a player that still isn't a guaranteed starter for his national team and Aulas should keep that in mind. The lack of serious interest from bigger clubs should give us a good understanding of the work in progress we'd be getting and I'm optimistic Tanguy will be a Spurs player by the time the summer ends. The same applies to Lo Celso unless Atletico see him as a Griezmann replacement to some extent.

Saying that, I'd love to see a few outs soon. That would well and truly get the ball rolling.

He's had 2 solid seasons under his belt.

Naby Keita had one good season under his belt before Liverpool spend £60,000,000 on him and that was activating a release clause wasn't it?

He'd had two years at RBS then a year at RBL - I know statsbomb were flagging him up as a prospect while at RBS and his next season at RBL was very good - and another half decent season waiting for his move to Liverpool.

And how good was Naby Keita for Liverpool this season? Personally I think with his age and experience, as well as a lack of top teams being in for him that Ndombele around the £60m mark is more than enough for Lyon to think they're getting a reasonably good deal out of it. I'm not the one negotiating the deal though so it's all hear say

They are still talking about Luca Connell (Bolton) around where I live. Would be nowhere near ready for our team now but could be in the future. Around 300 grand would get him.

Bolton Wanderers could lose prized asset Luca Connell for as little as £240,000 if the teenage star decides to move outside England.

A group of clubs - including Celtic - are leading the chase for the 18-year-old who was recently called up to a Republic of Ireland training camp.

Connell signed an academy contract extension with Wanderers, who are currently in administration.

The Liverpool born star, who can play in defence and midfield, will no doubt be viewed as a potentially lucrative resource for the five interested parties looking at taking over Bolton, who will begin next season in League One with a 12-point penalty.

However, Connell could go for less than £250,000 should he decide to head north of the border or even walk away from his own contract.

The move to extend Connell's academy contract, rather than hand him a professional deal, is viewed as something as an own goal by Bolton's previous regime.

Ndombele for 55m will be totally worth it. Haggling over 5m would be stupid if it stops the deal from getting done.

If Eriksen stays, Lo Celso is less needed. How about a 2 year deal for Eriksen so we can go into next summer with 1 year left on his contract again? Seems like it might be a good way to retain his transfer fee value while paying him his desired wages and without spoiling his long-term ambitions.

I hope we go for Sess as #2 target since he would do so much to ease our nation-trained CL registration struggles. Also should be able to slot in really well as a left wing back when we go with 3 cbs.

Son is great but if RM really want to offer over 100m for him, we should really consider taking it. He's always been incredibly streaky and can go missing for many games in a row. I'm honestly surprised they would want him but I guess the marketing stuff is really that valuable.

I would love it if the club can look to snatch up 1-2 prospects like this every year. 1-2m gbp invested this way consistently over a number of years should really benefit us going forward, especially as we've invested so much in youth development and training grounds.
