Nice tits on her......

Even when he came on against Ajax. There was about 10secs left & he tried dribbling the ball out from just outside our own area rather than just clearing it. He got tackled & gave them 1 last chance. I don't think he has a good footballing brain.

Ahhh I remember the 95th minute at the Etihad when Eriksen was near the halfway line, could have hoofed the ball up the pitch but in his true to form style decided to turn around and pass the ball to Sergio Aguero was it, who laid it to Sterling who basically knocked us out.

But for a 1cm offside VAR call.......not the first time over the years he’s done that either, but no one cares because we can usually blame Trippier

playing for a team where thenopposition more often than not play a deep defensive line, I'd personally go for Lo Celso. Inget the feeling that with Fernandes he'd slap a fair few from long range as opposed to play the intricate way that usually opens those kind of teams up.

Lo Celso, £55m tops would be my perfect situation but I doubt we'll end up getting him as we need to spend big money on someone like Ndombele as well.
Many games this season including famously the CL final have shown our need for more creativity aligned with pace, I think we need both or at least a combination of the two if we can't afford these particular pair.

Whats the consensus on whether we'd rather Lo Celso or Bruno Fernandes?

I'm not fussy. I used to say Bruno, but ATM I would take the cheaper option. They would pretty much offer the same thing. Poch would probably prefer his fellow countryman, who's also the younger version of the two.

I'm just not too happy about the touted fees. I think we should start looking elsewhere. Lucas Paqueta at Milan, but he could be in the same price bracket, and he's not quite as strong defensively.

I'm reasonably content with pace, especially now we have Son and Lucas in our ranks. For me I think we need better width up and down the pitch from out full back areas, predominantly at right back as well as a more clever yet mobile player. I would still have liked to have seen Grealish come in but that won't happen now so the next one I liked the look of last year was Lo Celso before he got his loan move.

The issue is we gave Lamela a new deal last summer and I highly doubt we'd be able to bring another AM type player in without moving one out. That or we make the most of Llorente's squad place by getting an AM in at the expense of a pure out and out striker. I'd prefer that option personally and hope that if Kane picks up an injury that Lucas or Sonny could step up or even the kids in our academy at present (Parrott and Etete)

Watch football mate.....stop living in 2016 like most of the fanbase.

Eriksen, Dele and Kane have been shit.

It’s not treason to admit it.

Whilst there is an element of truth if your words, you are completely ignoring these players were gassed out, from the mauling of Everton onwards.

They had a 10 day break and should have been put on ice (probably were), but just couldn't reignite after that. Yet those same set of players gritted it out to 4th and the CL final, fuck, just remember the Man City and Ajax games (considered along with Pool as Europes most in form teams, more or less, as we played them, or Dortmund...).

Think of these players in the past several seasons, not the last half season when they were running on insufficient mid-long term recovery, we got really lucky not to have several out with 6-9 month injuries.

Today's BBC news.

Tottenham have held talks with the agent of Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes, 24, over a move from Sporting Lisbon. (Telegraph)

Lyon have had a £16m bid turned down for Woolwich and Tottenham target Joachim Andersen, with the 23-year-old Danish defender valued at £31m by his club Sampdoria. (Star)

How is Trippier going Juve? I am not down on him as much as others on this forum but that blows my mind.... I cant see how both Napoli and Juve are in for him. I could understand if he was younger.

Madness.

There's a shortage of top class right full backs/wing backs in the world.

I understand why a number of fans are disappointed in Trippier performance, but there are not a whole host of alternatives - and AWB's price tag of £55m illustrates the shortage and its effects on player prices very well.

I can't get my head around the fact we never showed any interest in Wilmar Barrios for £13million.

The exact type of player we needed when Dembele left and we just stood back and said "No Thanks".

We reportedly were last summer.

Not a ball carrier from what I've seen.... Just a shithousing DM that had some growing up to do.
