Good point but Poch has reiterated on many occasions that he intends to see to this. When the crazy money it might prove best to focus on 'growing' these players when Maguire is going for 90M.

How would you remedy this? If the foreign players were removed then British players would be playing against only British players ie the Championship.
 
Unpopular opinion or stating the obvious, but we are still miles behind Man. City; it would be great if we will finish in the top 3 (or 4 for that matter) and reach the quarter finals of the CL again next season. Everything more than that would be a bonus, slowly but surely..
 
So after another day, are we agreed the next signings to be announced are likely to be :

Sessegnon - Ryan and Steven
Lo Celso
Either Olmo or Ceballos, and if Ceballos he is part payment from the Eriksen sale deal

after that maybe ( and in no particular order) :
A striker or winger striker
Centre back ( dependent on Toby staying or going or maybe just early for next summer)
Right Back ( but this may be next summer if right players are not available)
3rd GK. ( Unless Alfie Whiteman already given the role)

Thoughts ?


Btw has anyone checked the credit limit on Danny's credit card lately ?

He was talented, but overhyped too early.
He went to Barcelona from Zagreb and Olmo did opposite. Just foolish parents, he was never be able to get into Barcelona A team. He's okay player, nothing more, shame because talent was there.

Assuming we are never going to see "peak" Wanyama ever again, we have to add a proper 6 to add some robust/tenacious/defensively dynamic balance to players like Ndombele/Lo Celso/Winks.

Skipp (and Amos) being packed off on loan it would seem, Marsh could understudy but we really need to find our Fernandinho/Fabinho to hold things together.

Ndombele can definitely play in CM2's, but in tough games you'd still want a proper 6 in there with him, even at Lyon he often had Tousart in there with him.

That would still be my priority.
