Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

No, as it is, the only person we've replaced is Dembele. Anyway we might get rid of one or two but more than that I don't see happening. Everything is going to go to the wire again.

Most transfers generally go to the wire - most clubs have done very little business, except for say Villa who have spent circa £100m on a number of players. Nut Fulham did that last summer, only to go down again.

All we can do is wait to see who comes and goes - picking up information on both along the way, but too much of the information is from agents wanting to show case their clients, information made up by various journalists to sell stories etc, so its difficult to identify real information from Trump style 'fake news'.

So ... Trippier gone

Saliba (aka Salina) supposed to favour a move to the nomads.*

Ceballos supposed to favour a move to the nomads.*

*According to SSN.

I hope DL has some rabbits to pull from his hat ...

Madrid not wanting an option to buy in the Ceballos loan deal - why should we develop their players for them ? Small club like Woolwich can do that......and continue to decline after Ceballos goes back to Madrid

If Saliba has asked for guarantees of playing time (as rumoured) Poch is right to turn him down, but a club whose captain and CB has just walked out on them may need to play him to get 11 players out there.... Would we want an 18 year old as a guaranteed starter, I think not

But we are champion league finalists trying to improve against oil rich clubs. We run things down to the wire the chances are is that we'll lose and Poch will be pissed off and we'll have to wait until the summer transfer window, when Chelsea's transfer ban will be over. A good summer now could set us up for years.

I think we all need to just chill...the exit door may be swinging now but I'm certain the entrance one will be busy very, very soon. Poch isn't scuttling this ship... he's refurbishing it and you can't do that until you create some space...relax. (Fuck me these Xanax tablets are brilliant)

Sorry, that's not true...

We were alternating our FBs from game to game on a 2 games a week basis.

Meanwhile, Aurier has played far less than KT did when he was deputising; ergo getting more games as #1

Sure he's copped some flack for his blunders from our online fanbase, but I did not note the crowd at the stadium turn on him and I'm not buying the media thing either.... He rode a wave of post-WC hype in the media until his drop in form was simply too much to credibly ignore any further.

He himself said he had a poor season... No need to look any further for the cause of his "frustration".

I wish him well also.... Just don't think there's any cause for violins or sympathy here.... Or are you implying his time here actually hampered him and that his ability warranted a career that reached even greater heights?

I'll save my sympathy for (eg) Ryan Mason... Cunted off by elitists and having finally overcome an injury hampered development; had his career robbed from him by that neanderthal cunt Cahill.

Ben Davies (another example) has had a rougher ride here than KT ever has.

Tripps first season he played 6 premiership games... the second 12, the most he has averaged is 27 which was last season, of which Aurier missed nearly a third due to his hamstring.

I've heard fans in the ground moaning about him but not collective boos, still think it filters through...

I wasn't planning on dusting the violins down, just wishing him well for the future seems to work hard, not moan but takes it hard when he's made a mistake or not performed - clearly cares.

Comparing him to Mason is a bit random tbh, totally different situation, you can wish a player well without them having to come to a tragic end.
