Tanganga over Georgiou at LB. But neither should be anywhere near the first team to play at LB.

If Rose goes we need a new LB. Perhaps that's why we are interested in Bale. Could be moving back to his original position?? 😂
 
Got most of the youngsters travelling (9 in total plus Skipp) correct but a couple I hadn't predicted
- Jon de Bie (very good young GK), making a 4th GK travelling
- Brooklyn Lyons-Foster, a versatile CB/defender/DM in place of Eyoma (who went on last seasons pre-season)

Otherwise no Rose or Trippier as widely rumoured. And no Ben Davies (due to injury), so no full backs, except Foyth who may well be drafted as RB.

Suggest Lyons-Foster, Tanganga and Georgiou will also feature as FB's - unless Vertonghen and Alderweireld show them how ?!

Eriksen and Alderweireld both travel

Sanchez, Wanyama and Aurier don't travel as still on their 3 week break post internationals, whilst Dier is still injured. So 7 first team players in total not travelling ( of which Trippier now sold so 6 first team players who currently will be part of next season first team squad not travelling)

GK - Lloris, Gazzaniga, Whiteman, De Bie
FB - KWP (R/L), Foyth (R), Georgiou (L)
CB - Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Tanganga, Lyons-Foster
CM - Ndombele, Sissoko, Winks, Skipp, Marsh, Bowden, White
AM - Eriksen, Dele, Son, Moura, Lamela, Roles
ST - Kane, Parrott

We have a number of talented CM's from the youth set up included, I wonder if we will see a 433 formation ?
 
Only a few more days until our first game of the season. Can't wait! Hoping to see a rough draft of pochettino's formation ideas for the coming season.

In the meantime, somethings to ponder..
