Considering his buyout clause was €100m, which they were adamant about, and we're getting him for €60m + add-ons, I'd say they got Levy'd. Maybe not full Levy'd, but Levy'd nevertheless. He's probably saving his full Levy for Sporting.
:levystare:
They started negotiating at €75 million though. Spanish clubs don't use buy-out clauses as starting points in negotiations - Ronaldo's was €1 billion, do you think that's where Madrid started conversatios with Juve?

Clausulas de recisión are legal requirements here, they're not valuations. They only get paid where the buying club sees value - ie the player's club has set the clause too low, or at least at an an affordable level for the buyer (see Rodrigo to City for example), or where the player's club has zero intention of selling in any normal circumstances or wants to make life as difficult as possible for the buyer (see Griezmann to FCB)

Updated this, so with 7 HG players we have a squad limit of 24. Meaning we could theoretically keep all the players listed and bring in Dybala and Sessegnon (Sessegnon doesn't need to registered as he is under 21). Obviously there is no chance we are signing Dybala if Eriksen is staying, but good to know IMO.
Need a third gk

Paulo Dybala is very close to reaching Tottenham. It is expected that by tomorrow the last obstacle to its signing will be unraveled: image rights. Poch close to having the Argentine striker who rejected United.

He's a full back. He didn't play there that much for Fulham because he didn't know the position well enough. There's less risk in playing younger players in attacking positions because they're less likely to make mistakes that lead to goals. He'd be a decent wide player but as a left back I'd back him to oust Chillwell, Shaw and Rose from the England starting 11 within a couple of years.
On what evidence

Not sure what Sessegnon is. Started out at full back but scored nearly 20 goals in a forward position in the championship.

I think that's been part of the problem for him. He doesn't even know. Being pushed around to various positions due to his versatility. Which can be a great thing (just look at how Ajax and other train youth), but not necessarily when it's with a revolving door of manager.

He needs the right people - a strong manager (in developing players) and coaching team to assess his best position, and from there develop his strengths and iron out his weaknesses.

I strongly suspect the reason, we keep hearing, he'll only join us is for that very reason, because he thinks Poch & co. are exactly those people
