Disappointing team selection unfortunately. It's about time Lo Celso got a start, and neither Aurier or Eriksen should be anywhere near our starting line up.

On the positive side though it's good to see Davies as captain and Ndombele starting.

Lo Celso can't start yet FFS. It would be unfair on him. That Eriksen starts is whatever.

As for Aurier it's the lack of viable alternatives that Pochettino trusts which is the mockery.

There is a part of me that wonders what Pochettino has been doing for the last 5 years. The other part just wants us not to gift goals and be a bit more clinical.

Anything sadly possible today other than us keeping a clean sheet.

All I will say about the team is that Poch had a chance today (regardless of Kane and Lamela not being available) to make a statement regarding his vision of where this club is going with the players it should still have at the end of the season.
In that regard, to my mind, he has failed miserably. I shall be fascinated to see how the game pans out and at what time Poch feels substitutions are necessary. We may well win comfortably, and I sincerely hope we do. Let battle commence.
:coys:
He still have a small chance left. Showing how he wants the team to play. I'm sure he haven't got a clue.

I’m starting to dislike the greatest Spurs manager in my life time. Aurier out, Foyth in! Aurier won’t be here next season, give Foyth some minutes, it’s not like he can do worse than him. Eriksen starting again? Just play Lo Celso! Unsure on the formation, probably the dreaded diamond, although Poch will likely change the formation mid match anyway.

Because Poch thinks he’s irreplaceable like 99% of you lot did 12 weeks ago

Dude with all due respect, you have a masterful habit of using hyperbole and generalisations...
I would doubt that 99% of all posters think he's irreplaceable (if you look at my posts, I've had a lengthy discussion with others about why and how are midfielders like eriksen so rated when I see them and don't rate them as much as others seem to).

Your generalisation of 'you lot' does lump some of us who've never said that in with the group who have which tends to upset people a wee bit... I'm not but it comes across as aggressive and confrontational.

I like eriksen. He's done a LOT of good for the club and I will never think that a couple of bad games mean he's gash HOWEVER (As I said prior to this, I'm not sure how he plays over some others currently as he seems to have had a long period of poor passing, set pieces and overall play).

I’m ok with Aurier he makes mistakes but has a higher ceiling than KWP or other options. I like his aggressiveness and always found it tough to play against players like him.

Don’t understand Eriksen in lineup unless Lo Celso just hasn’t impressed in training. Poch would have every reason to put him in if he was ready.
