Nagelsmann's not likely to leave yet, and he's not exactly proven.

Eddie Howe would be a shocking appointment.

Mourinho, I'm undecided about. If we win games and actually win a couple of trophies then I'm not too arsed how we achieve that, but the circus around him could get tedious, and it always ends badly eventually. If we're geared up to handle that inevitability then it could work.

Ancelotti would be my preference. He's a proven winner, has done it over here, comes with minimal baggage. That said, Napoli aren't performing too well this season, and how much is down to him? Their president seems to be pissing everyone off there, so a break from all that shit might be an attractive proposition, especially to return to London.

Ancelotti would be my preference as well. I wouldn't judge him too much by what is going on at Napoli right now. De Laurentiis is an utter nut and runs the club like a convenience store. He's also responsible for producing a lot of dubious quality films.

Am very much not Poche out. But if Mauricio feels like he can no longer connect with the Universal Energy at Spurs then it’s totally fair for him to walk. Burn out happens.

I think Daniel Levy has shown a clear pattern in his managerial choices, and between that and the data which Spurs use, will likely have reached out to 21st Club or someone similar and built a short-list. It won’t be too hard to guess at the criteria.

1) History of over-achieving vs financial resources
2) History of working with young players snd bringing youth through.
3) Successful experience playing attacking football using pressing and a short-passing possession style.
4) Experience in Europe.
5) Speaks some English.
6) Comfort working with a DoF.

From that, you can get a list of names pretty quickly that can be divided into two groups. Those available now, and those available in the summer.

Available now: Rangnick, Southgate, Roger Schmidt, Lucien Favre, Marcelino.

Available in the summer (if at all): Nagelsmann, Marco Rose, Potter, ten Hag, Peter Bosz, Tuchel.

Choose accordingly.

I have to think its gonna be Mourhino or Howe. I hope we don't have to deal with a caretaker for the rest of the season.
Do you know what, we’re in such a shambles at the moment I would actually be happy with Mourinho for a year... doesn’t even make me feel dirty saying it... Fuck.

My preferences are in this order:
Mourinho - Ten Hag
Allegri
Tuchel
Nagelsmann
Benitez
Kovac
Bosz
...
...
...
Howe

Don't want Jose. Another media starlet that just can't say the right thing when the going gets tough.

For me it is either Potter, Marsch, or Nagelsmann.

I want someone young that isn't afraid to try things. Jose will stick to his guns and we might be good for a season or two, but his act will grow old.
