José Mourinho has said on several occasions that he understands the financial constraints at Spurs; that he is happy to work with the existing squad. Does anybody truly believe His Humbleness? In an ideal world, Mourinho would like new full-backs, maybe a centre-back and a back-up striker. Whether the club can sell Christian Eriksen will hold the key to the budget. I'd like to think that Jose and our team of coaches can make a decent partner for Ndombele out of Winks, Skipp, Dier or Sissoko. We shouldn't need to spend 50m.

As a front 3, Kane, Son and Moura, I would say we need to add some pace and muscle. For me Traore from Wolves, but no chance of anything until summer at earliest.

Cavani on a loan until summer could be a shrewd move or go all out and get Bale in until end of 2021 season and then ship him out to USA or China.

Is Dybala now a dead end?
