Norwich what a fee close to 45m. NEXT!

Mama taught you well but she can't be too proud that a fellow poster who allegedly doesn't have your grammar keeps putting you away.:mourpointlaugh::mourglasses::sonpoint:

Exhausting a reader due to sentences that don't breath is not the same as prevailing with a salient and well argue point. Keep on truckin' tho'....It's gonna be a glorious January; I can feel it.

DM still remains our biggest priority. I put myself down a dark hole earlier today when I was thinking how we could have been in much better shape if we took the 50m for Eric Dier when Jose was at Yanited.

I thought JM came out and said the exact opposite.

Makeshift LWB at times recently but yet to see him at LFB.
Don't know about 'recently'. And to tell the truth I really don't hang on every word Mou says...but BC would because I already forwarded him the article a bit ago. It was about the future. No, he doesn't see him as a LB for now. But you picking nits about things like that is really lessening the force of my nut-punch on BC.:mourcry: I'm ok with my points being truth-adjacent when scoring points with him.

rejecting a Champions league finalist club whose first choice defenders both leaving at the end of the season ? - I suspected a Levy low-ball offer could've been the only thing that screwed it up

there is no way anyone can choose the train-wreck Woolwich over us
But that’s the point, he did chose them over us.

3 scenarios are possible:

1) Levy did offer lower wages. If this is the case, and at first this was an attractive option for Saliba but in the end he still prefers Woolwich in their dire situation above us just for some extra cash, I don’t want him.

2) Levy offered the exact same wages. If this is the case, Saliba picking Woolwich is out of the control of Levy. We are in a better situation than them, we shouldn’t need to offer extra cash to still come to us.

3) Levy offered higher wages. Lol

Multiple sources claimed we reached an agreement with the club, and others claimed we had persuaded him with a decent enough offer. You could only blame Levy if his offer was never serious to begin with.

It's all good.... Just keep your little love-tussle alive.... This thread will need that juice on quieter days to come.

Ffwd to movie reviews on page 768.

I'm like Travolta in need of a themometer after dark..... Night Fever, baby!

Promise me one thing; will you please use your bestest spelling, punctuation and joined up typing?

...It would mean a lot to me. :ledley:

Meanwhile, any big words you don't understand just PM me. :mourthumb:
Can Five Five do the same? I figured I'd ask as you might just be in the holiday spirit.

The Guardian have a club-by-club guide to the transfer window - their targets, budget, who might be off.

Ours doesn't make for particularly cheery reading...

Tottenham
José Mourinho has said on several occasions that he understands the financial constraints at Spurs; that he is happy to work with the existing squad. Does anybody truly believe His Humbleness? In an ideal world, Mourinho would like new full-backs, maybe a centre-back and a back-up striker. Whether the club can sell Christian Eriksen will hold the key to the budget. Mourinho’s first window with Daniel Levy will be an experience.
David Hytner

On the flip-side, David Hytner is a cunt who suckled at the teat of Tim Sherwood
