It would make sense. Saves time. You know the people, all connected.

Ruben Dias is the one that sticks out. We should try for him.
Ricardo perreira at Leciester. probably too expensive now.
Nelson Semedo - Said in paper agent has OK'd move, didnt realise it was Mendes

Sadly there doesnt seem to be anyone else.
I think Jose and Mendes are going to rebuild our team over the next couple of windows by the looks of it. Some players will be brought in and sold after a year or so. Some brought in more long term.

But if handled well it will generate us a fair bit of money and make us a competitive team again.

I'm sure levy has seen what wolves have done and wants a bit.

If mendes makes a bit of commission and we get success i dont care.

What's the point of that? They will be a bugger to move on. We can't rebuild with loan signings.

The idea being I guess that we sign a player out of Mendes' stable. They become a success and if we sell them on we make a bit of profit? Some of his clients will obviously be retained longer than others.

I'm not talking about loan signings. If Mendes is going to start playing a part in our squad setup it is going to players in both on loan and on full on transfers.

Have to wonder, if Gedson is 50m, why we didnt sign the real Fernandes for 60m?
I know it’s hard to fathom but maybe just maybe Jose wanted Gedson and didn’t want Bruno?!

Funny how it says W Ham have never been "in the race" and not never been in for him. Makes me think that W Ham wanted to sign him, but there was no way in hell he would sign for them once we were in for him. It's like the race was between an F1 car and a VW Beetle.
Ya that's how it reads to me. If he has any potential at all Spurs make a lot more sense for a young player than West Ham, even if he may get more playing time across town. Despite a poor 2019 this club has shown it has the potential to be a consistent top-10 club in the world, and we aren't bringing anyone in, Mendes client or not, without Jose signing off.

Probably because they weren't prepared to offer us the loan framework.

It's becoming more and more obvious that Levy is now using loan deals to hedge against the risk of an absolute dud. We probably could buy Gedson for 35 million now, but he would rather pay more, at a later stage, to ward against the utter flop.
