I haven’t written him off I’ve called him mentally scared of getting injured and not being available and looking unfit.

If you think he’s a top player then stopping banging on about the club not backing it’s managers. Trying to have it both ways and tripping over yourself all the time
But he did get injured he was right to be cautious.

If you think Levy has always backed his managers then you have blinders on.

I have an opinion based on his record, just as you secretly do.
No mate, life doesn’t work like that.
Your argument lacks credibility all the way, and made you look a fool.

Accusing the person you argue with of pretending not to agree with you to save face is the mentality of a weirdo to be honest.

My opinion is that I have never seen him play, and am quite excited that he could be good.
No more no less.

You’ve written him off and actually said he’s shit, without seeing him play and there is zero justification for it.

This is only my own thoughts and speculation.

The reason for only loan signings and only giving Mourinho a short term (ish) contract is because ENIC are looking to sell.

The club are in its most financially sound position it’s ever been in, the new stadium is built, the naming right are rumoured to be almost agreed for over £400m and we have our best players tied down to long contracts. It just makes sense that ENIC aren’t committing to new signings as they don’t want to pay the big bucks if they are moving on.

I might be wrong, but it just seems to add up.

....Or that a) the players we actually want aren't available in this window and/or that b) the loans are only seen as short term solutions to injury based problems.

A long term loan also means we can have our cake and eat it in terms of them being low risk.

A 28 year old Cape Verde international who has never played at this level and a Benfica bench warmer is backing for one of the best managers in history?

OK.
Which tells you all you need to know about how we are being run especially in regards to our transfer strategy. Stop gaps & prospects rather than better starters. They should be to compliment first 11 starters. Not be our main signings. But maybe that is still to come.
