Pochettino wanted Sissoko (I posted a couple of articles about this a few pages ago). I have never read/heard he didn’t want Moura?

Either way, Mitchell isn’t getting bigger resources at RBL.
You keep saying that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. "wanted" =/= "accepted on the last day of transfer window after 'missing out' on primary target".

What articles? I’m not sure why people are so keen to push this narrative. He absolutely did not want Sissoko, he said so himself, there is literally direct quotation in his book.
As for Moura, I’m pretty sure after a good performance from him Poch said that the person who should take credit for it was Steve Hitchen as it was he who convinced the club to sign him.

He has been way worse even, for them, a team who plays in a much less competitive league (until this year I guess)

That would be damning considering my existing opinion of him (slow, lazy; a passenger in most games I saw him in)

But he is 10 times better than Dier

10 times worse than a worsening Can isn't even a footballer... I sense you may be exaggerating.

I would love us to go for a DM, Berge or Soumare. But sometimes when I'm fantasising, about football, not sex, I can see a 4-3-3 with no clear DM. Ndombele, Winks, LoCelso or Gedson. Where they all help out defensibly and manage it, total football where all can do everything. It'll probably never happened though, just like me fucking Salma Hayek will never happen.

Doesnt work

In gerrard lampard territory. Against better sides we will lose.

Get a feckin dm in asap

Steven Bergwijn is on his way to Tottenham Hotspur, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf is . He's already missing from PSV's squad for today's match against Twente.

Not much noise via google:

"The 21-year-old PSV winger wanted by Liverpool and Manchester United"

No mention of us at this end......

EINDHOVEN - PSV seems to lose Steven Bergwijn to Tottenham Hotspur. The English top club wants to take over the attacker (22) immediately.

Bergwijn is already missing on Sunday afternoon in the PSV match selection for the home game with FC Twente, several sources around the club report. José Mourinho and Tottenham are looking for an offensive impulse due to the injury of striker Harry Kane and the impending departure of Christian Eriksen to Internazionale.

The nine-time international of the Dutch national team has been followed for years by international top clubs, including Spurs. Seville was concrete last summer, but the Spanish club did not want to meet the PSV asking price. Bergwijn subsequently extended its contract in Eindhoven until August 2023, so that Tottenham will be deep in the bag to hijack Bergwijn from the Netherlands in the meantime.

And you keep implying that the first conversation Pochettino and Levy had about Sissoko was on the last day of the transfer window. which is clearly bogus. They had clearly discussed him and earmarked him, hoping to pick him up a bit cheaper maybe, but him becoming more expensive because Everton came in for him didn’t suddenly make him more wanted it just proved how much Poch wanted him, because despite his fee going up, he still signed off on it. He was obviously already a planned signing, otherwise Levy would not have bought him for even more money than he was going to cost. And Levy would not pay a record fee for a player without Pochettino - who had publicly declared his control of transfers by now - being fully behind it.
